Great, guess switching to Canidae isn't a smart option at this time. :(

Hmm. Just got a new bag here. I think I need to re-read this article after I've had some sleep, because all I comprehend right now is a lot of "Canidae says," and "other people say."

yeah.
i'm gonna try and figure some more out today.
it does seem like a lot of hear say, and the fact that the gfood sample came in a ziploc bag with no way to identify it makes me scratch my head....

i'm in the same boat.
both dogs like it and are doing well on it.
although, someone suggested maybe i consider switching feed, as this past weekend my pup developed some kind of eye irritation, and in thier experience had a few that didn't do so well on it.

It seems like a smear tactic to me, Canidae was not involved in the recent pet food recall , maybe someone is trying to gain some customers back. I called Canidae today and they said they tested their product and found no acetaminophen(Tylenol) in their product. The FDA also found no evidance of it in the samples they tested. Someone sent in some food in a ziplock bag and identified it as Canidae. Sound fishy at best, I'll continue to use it.

weird. Now, I recently had a bad experience with Canidae, but I'm pretty sure it's allergy related. I tried a bag of their chicken and rice formula (I usually go with all life stages, but that's all they had) and one of my dogs reacted real bad to it. The other reacted a little bit, but Axl broke out all over. But it cleared up when he got back on the normal formula after it all got out of his system. Worst allergic reaction I've ever seen though, he was borderline lethargic by the time I found out (out of town while new food was being fed and not aware of his condition until I got back......)
