in my post about my jip dying, some people are talking about how i neglected my dog by not taking her to the vet. vet was closed when i found her, i called him at home and he said to wait til the next day. and my original post is still there, some reason you may not be able to see it, i know i can see it. but i described it to the vet on the phone when i called him at home, he said wait and bring her in the morning when he was open. he said she should be ok til in the morning, i stayed up with her as long as i could, til i fell asleep, in the chari on my porch with her. woke up, and she was dead. but just to straighten things out, i did talk to my vet!! but i'm thinkin she may've been poisoned, and there was also a black widow spider on the bottom of her water bowl a week or 2 before, i'm wondering if maybe it didn't have a friend around, or maybe it had some babies. but didn't find no bite marks.

In your original post, you said the vet thought it was heartworms Gee...I didnt even see that much...
my best jip just died one day she was fine, and the next afternoon i went out there to feed her, and she was laying in her house sick, couldn't really walk much, she was pissing blood, couldn't get her mouth open, had to pry it open to give her some medicine, left her on the porch, the next morning i went out there, and she was dead, picked her up to bury her, and blood started coming out her nose/mouth.
it was one of my best jips, good producer * edited for content. jaystreetsa4*she was pretty tightly bred. but atleast i have a male off her to keep the bloodline going. It wans't until afterwards (people were asking why didnt you go to the vet) that you posted this:
when i discovered her, vet was closed, i called him at home, he told me it was probably heartworms, but i haven't ever heard of heartworms killing em all of a sudden. he told me to bring her in the next morning. he told me to give her some benedryl, but i just trying to figure out if it may have been something else besides heartworms. i had got her from a friend, who was getting out of the buisness, and i got him from her about a year ago. and she was very mature, good dog. she would talk to me lol, and i'd go out there, and she'd jump up in my arms.
her symptoms, pissing blood, white gums, dehydrated, i put her outside, was a fairly warm night, i got a enclosed porch, and i stayed up almost all night, the last time i checked on her was about 3 or so, and i fell asleep on the couch, was trying to stay up all night, woke up about a quater to six, she was dead. wish i could've stayed awake, atleast been with her at her last moments.
what does it sound like to yall that caused this?? do you think it could've really been heartworms?? or something else?? that's why i posted was to get some different opinions. i know one thing, from now on all my dogs will be on heartworm preventive. Either way, everyone was still concerned and worried and curious....
After you stated that...nobody argued with you...that I can see!

i must have not mentioned it, but i thought i did, i aint letting a dog go sick without talking to my vet, i got pissed off because i don't like people saying i neglect my dogs. the vet said he thought it was heartworms, but i haven't ever seen a dog die that fast from it. i think in my own opinion it was something else.

Well with all due respect, nobody knows this unless you you tell them!
As you see, it wasn't mentioned in the above posts..I can understand them having questions, doubts and being curious....I was curious as to why you didnt myself..but never said anything.....then you made the last post...:D

Shyt happens. I don't blame you one bit. A lot of folks here got thier flame throwers at the ready, and sometimes they fire them prematurely. Sending you some "TRUE 'DAT" rep points to balance you out.

Hey bro, sorry to butt in, but how exactly does that work? I have 2 people left me that "TRUE DAT" comment on my rep and has a blue little dot next to it.
Also, my rep score hasn't moved, even though I'm getting positive feedback.
Why is that, do you know?
Thanks man

PS: By the way, I did ask the admin of this site, but he never responded, he might be busy, it's cool.

Gato, I think it means that the person that gave you the points has too low of a reputation (their points are 0 or below) or is no longer a member.
Olred, don't worry about it man. Some people hand out bad rep like pez candy, lol. All of us have had a bad comment or 2 ...or 10, lol. I guess I'll join EDOGZ in giving you some points. ;)

thanks man, i gave him and fearless some too, think i'll give you some, although i don't have any good points right now, don't think it would help now that i know that, maybe when i get back in to positive points lol. "if i do" lol. i never really give out anything, i just mainly use the forums, all that points stuff is really bullshit to me. it even has a thing if somebody has so few points that you can't even see their posts. i don't give out negatives, if somebody says something i don't like i'm goin to just say it to them, not go and give em bad reputation points.

PS: By the way, I did ask the admin of this site, but he never responded, he might be busy, it's cool.Ha, Ha, If it says "TRUE 'DAT", then that means I felt your post was "Quite Agreable", hence "TRUE 'DAT". If I don't agree (I:E: Minor Threat dissing Wali The Black Pope ("And a rapper at that) You get a "NOT TRUE 'DAT", well you should (he should've but didn't) , but like Olered, I don't or rarely do give out negative rep points. I'd rather let you know how I feel S2S (Screen 2 Screen). I don't do the anynomous attack B.S. So if you get a "TRUE 'DAT", you have my blessing on that specific post.
P.S. I have no idea what the heck the blue dot means. My guess is the blue dot means my opinion ain't worth squat.
P.S. X 2 : Gato, you owe us a thread on your theories relating to
"BEST 2 BEST" vs. "FAMILY 2 FAMILY".
Can't speak for anyone else, but I'm definately waiting to hear what you have to say, since most of your post have been highly informative.
