Well why don't you try with canidae , see if she likes it . If not , then maybee she just eats well with her brother , because she feels like she won't get any if she does not eat it . Dogs eat better if they have some sort of "competition" IMO . This is just an instinctual behavior i quess and she will get used to eating alone.

are u feeding innova EVO or just regular innova. If u are feeding EVO i suggest switching to something else because the protein level is too high for a pup. My dog had all types of problems with EVO so i switched to canidae and now he's doing great

I feed JC the EVO. So, the EVO has more protein than the regular Innova?

yea, its formulated as a replacement for raw feeding which is high in protein for working dogs. I don't think any dog should get that high of a protein level unless it is being worked very hard

As for the OP...You just got your pup not too long ago, The pup hasnt had much time to adjust to YOUR living quaters WITHOUT one of her littermates or people that was already familiar with.

I honestly would keep her away for a few weeks and let her adjust to her NEW environment before letting her go back over there. You just might find that eats like she should. I would not switch foods YET..(unless you are feeding EVO) reg Innova is fine...
Until you see that she is absolutely not responding to the food and other possibilities have been discluded.

You can pretty much feed anything a dog would definitely like w the innova.
Beef, steaks, chicken , grounded meat etc. Maybe you you can mix some innova with canidae. Maybe you can skip a day of feeding the dog, so it works up an appetite. Maybe you can just feed it canidae. Use your imagination

I've noticed a lot of questions lately about how much to feed. :)

My suggestion is to stop worrying about how much and start concentrating on how the dog looks and acts. Each dog is an individual and feeding guidelines provided on the bag are just that, guidelines.

Do you have any more recent pictures of Drama dotdajoker215? In the one pic in your gallery she looks great!

At this stage in a pups life you want them to be healthy and energetic with a nice body structure. Not to fat and not to thin. If your not feeding enough or the pup is not eating enough to maintain health it will show quite quickly at a young age.

Trying to get them to eat more than what they might need will only end up in making them possibly overweight and potentially create a picky eater. The fact that she eats more with another pup present is, as some have said, likely due to the competition for food that starts at the nipple in litters.

I've never seen a healthy pup starve itself to death, if it's hungry it will eat what you put in front of it, but if you start adding extras now it may end up giving you a hard time later and turn it's nose up at regular kibble.

The smallest dog I own eats the most yet never gets overweight, while the largest dog eats the least and never gets skinny. It's based on their individual needs and metabolisms.

If a dog looks to be losing weight you up their intake, if their getting chunky you lessen their portion. With a pup, their needs fluctuate with their growth spurts. Observe your dog and make your decisions that way.

Best of luck with Drama dotdajoker215, she's a sweetie for sure!
