Does any one know how i can get like a fake paper showing my dog had her rabies shot..

I did get my dog her rabies shot just not at the vet. my friend use to work at a vets office and brought the stuff home and did it in her back yard because i was short on money at that time.

i just got a letter in the mail from animal control saying i need to renew her tags and have to show them proof.

any help or ideas.

i honestly can not belive you are asking a question like this.take your dog and get it another shot at the vet and get it legal like.if you can not afford the small price tag for your dog go ask your local shelter where they do it low cost.you are knowingly asking someone to provide you with a false document that is against the law.i can not belive how stupid you are.i for one think this thread needs to be closed.

unless ur friend is a certified vet, what u did was illegal. U need to take him to a legal vet and get the shot done, comeon now it aint expensive why would u risk ur dogs life and ur heartache when AC takes ur dog and puts it down

I got a question for you. A rabies shot is not expensive. What happens if your dog gets really sick? How will you afford that?

Nevermind, I dont need you to answer that..you basically alreays have!!
People like you are a disgrace to human society as well as this BREED....dont you think there is enough trouble right now with them, without you going and asking some stupid shit like on a public forum....
You are asking people to help you break the LAW....Ignorant!

If you have to be deceitful and manipulative about proper care for an animal...YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO OWN ONE......

Not near as bad as having your dog taken from you and destroyed all because of failing to abide by a simple law.

How much are you willing to pay the vet to fake the papers and risk his license? 10$, $10,000? Do you need it retroactive? (before today). If you saved the label from the individual dosage vial, and the date (stick it on the calendar), then you may argue your point,( albeit unsuccessfully) but the label and calendar do not constitute proof under the law, but may convice the AC officer that you are up to date. If you are in a bite situation, your friend will have to come forward and verify the dogs was correctly vaccinated. This is not "proof", because your friend is not licensed nor authorized (or you would have your tags) and was being dishonest by giving you the the unauthorized vaccine in the first place. Your friend will probably get fired and not help you cause.

If your dog has bitten someone, and they have started the first wave of shots, then I believe (YOU MUST CHECK) that there is an observation period that the dog can go through to determine if it has rabies. 72hrs I think.

If your dog has not bitten someone, and the paper doesn't need to be retroactive (IE: You got the vaccine but need proof for the license), then you are a damn fool. Pay the $10. Better yet , turn the dog in to the shelter, your problems are only going to get bigger.

yup, you might get charged with the vet visit, or, some times termed "Brief Office Exam", but lemme tell you, it's a HELL of a LOT cheaper doing that~what's right AND abides to the law, then doing what you're doing~breaking the law, and making other "pit bull" owners look bad~being as we all seem to be chacterized into the same 'group' ...and not to mention, you run the risk of putting that vet in possible jeopardy, if, for what/however reason, that vaccine gets traced back to them.

save yourself the headaches and get it done correctly~EVERY one benefits this way. IMO, shit ALWAYS comes back to bite you in the ass.
and i also DO believe, if you can NOT afford a "brief office exam"~our's here is like $15.00 or so, then imo, you cannot afford to have that dog as well...

sorry, this gets my vote for most ridiculous question asked....

I dont know how any of ya'lls vets work, but if I bring my dogs in for shots, we only pay for shots, we dont have to pay the $35 vet visit fee. Maybe you should check your area and see if any vets there do that if money is low.

I'm sure LA has low cost vaccine clinics on the weekends. Call your local feed stores and vets offices. Better yet, call your friend that helped you out......

Call the vet and tell them you need to make an appointment for a rabie shot nothing else. If they will not do it, call another vet ...they will, someone will...I assure you.
These shots are not high price at all....

What that 100 is for is to vacc. check for worms and everything, which in all reality, the poor dog probably needs it all, BUT...call around!

It is like this at most all verts..you may just have to call a little bit to find out, but she will if she gets off of here and gets on the phone!
