So when I let Ozzy out this morning, I noticed a large raw spot on the side of his head. I checked him out, cleaned it up and went ahead to work. Came home this evening and it looks about the same. Its raw, weeping a bit, the hair is falling out, and it is sore to the touch. Other than this, he is fine. Good appetite, playing and running around, etc. He had something similar a while back, I thought it was a burn, but it looks exactly the same as last time and there is no way he could have gotten burned. So I got online and did some research and it looks and sounds exactly like Moist Eczema. My question is, have any of you heard of this? It basically is a bad hot spot. Looking for some ideas on how to help clean it up and keep it that way. Last time it cleared up pretty much on its own, just with me wiping it clean with warm water and a mild soap last time.
