I am looking to get some opinions on this ped. There's nothing much outstanding up close, but it gets interesting in the 5th gen with all the Colby dogs and Boudreaux T-Bud, Maverick, It, etc...and alot of Bullyson in the 6th and 7th with Zebo in there a few times as well. I got this dog for free, so the price was right, just wondering what y'all thought, or if anyone knew anything about some of these dogs.......

Well i know Allison , he lives in my town, or use to anyways.Ch Ace Tiger Lilly was from O'Donovans and she was a superb weight pull dog. Allison was also heavey into WP. Tiger lilly was also owned by MFK, the same owner as Snoop . Tiger Lilly comes from Colby's Troy and is also Half sister to my dog Otis's sire Odin.

Tiger Lilly also was dam to Colbys Shiner who you can see him on Colbys website, good looking male. Maybe ShadyRidgeKeenel can jump in, she knows alot more about Allsion dogs than I do. He use to run Colby lines It appears he found himself some Boudreaux dogs now. But from what I see you got some good blood in there.

Looks good, but I don't know anything abot Dawnrest. Thats the key there. Boudreax and Colby names speak volumes. Allison' must be ok for Colby to bring his female there. The Colby family still has dogs I think , but the Boudreax's are out for now.

Colby only breeds with his own dogs, Colby on Colby only. Tiger lilly had 2 owners both fans of the Colby lines, O'Donovans and Magnum Force Kennels. Tiger lilly is registered with the Colby name though so I see where people would think that he was the owner.

Im not sure what to make of the breeding (brother/sister) or why it was done like that.

I do know that I have heard only bad things about the Rocky Biter dog's offspring. Seems that he didnt produce very well in many peoples eyes. Bunch of hype and a peddler makin $$$.

not true, i just hate ppl that are puppy mills and that like to beat there dogs with shovels. and ppl who breed currs and then say there dogs are game when they only go hunting for 5 mins, while in some backyard bullshit ;)
BUT i do think he is a good pet.

BUT i do think he is a good pet.he is a good pet.....we'll see if he's more than just a pet. He does love to pull for me....

No, SRK is just setting things straight, she set me straight too about the breeder and I knew the man from way back in like 1983. I still stand by all the good things I said about Tiger Lilly tho. She was a good pull dog.

doubt he would do good tho will those screwed up front pasterns and rear from his former owners.say what you want, when he stands they way he's supposed to he looks good, and he pulls uphill for me, does pretty good...but, me getting him is the best thing that ever happened to the dog. His former owners shouldn't have been allowed to own hamsters let alone a dog!

what traits exactly are you looking for from this breeding? and more specifically is there a certain line that you hope comes through as dominant? when inbreeding as i'm sure you kow you magnify the best and the worst. the dawnrest has the highest percentage in this ped, and boudreaux the second. however, it all looks really good on the whole. i looked up dawnrest and was intrigued by what i saw. i think that an inbreeding, and just my opinion, isn't really necessary. unless these are the only two dogs you have. don't get me wrong, i've only been breeding on my own for five years, but it was something i grew up with. i by no means consider myself an expert, but the principles of breeding are pretty universal. regardless of the breed. but what do i know. :)
