I want to show my girl in the AADR Nationals. I was wondering how do they like to see the pups in the 9-12mth class.(Pics i could refer to would be great!) This is my first time so any other tips would be helpful as well.

It really does depend on the judge....
Some like them lean...some like them chunky...
Here is a pic of ours at AADR....

This is 12 months...
Hope it helps...
You also want to make sure that you know how to walk your dog in the ring..they need to be used to walking BESIDE you with their head UP....
make sure he/she is familiar with letting you show the teeth...
judges look down on these 3 things if you cant do it properly...

I have pics from AADR shows but not nationals of my dogs...a good judge wants a well fed, well taken care of pup..but I've noticed, that about 6-12 months, they should have line...thats what I have noticed....Bring your A game.

I don't participate in shows, but I do enjoy going to watch them. I have heard many times that if it's a pup judges don't want to see ribs, like in your older dogs.

This is some pics of our female Sassy at 9 months and then at 12 months. Really it all depends on the judge if they like to see pups with a little meat or lean. Its really a hit or miss.
