It has been noticed by many on this site that newcomers are being met with hostility and downright rudeness by current members and this is not acceptable!

Although there have been some past cases in which a person wishing to cause trouble decided to make themselves more than one screenname, these cases are few and far between.

However, it seems that almost every newcomer who asks a question is a "troll" and within half an hour current members are screaming for the banning of this new person. This has got to stop!

First, EVERYONE on this site was a new member at one time. EVERYONE has asked basic questions and even questions that one would've thought the answer was so easily known why in the hell was it being asked. We have all done it and to think otherwise means you are delusional and in denial.

Second, this is a educational site with the purpose of providing a place for people to come and learn. No question is a stupid question! If you happen to be someone that thinks a particular question is stupid, then kindly exit from that thread and stay away from it. Don't start bickering with the poster as it's not needed and it won't be allowed!

Third, if you have a problem with another member, send a pm to any staff member (admin or moderator) and we will help you to solve it. We do encourage people to settle their differences through private messages, but we will not allow rude and hateful behavior from one member to another in the open forums any longer.

First off, if you have a problem with this thread, take it up with Marty as it was typed up per his request/orders. He's the owner and operator of this site and I was doing as I was asked. So contact him and tell him you think his forum his shit and run like a Nazi concentration camp.

Second, I honestly didn't think that this was such a big issue to ask of people. If you want to disagree with someone and have facts or proof of their lying tongues to back up your "troll" or "liar" comments, then by all means fill us all in. I don't have a problem with that. But to respond to someone who comes on here asking about some dogs in their dog's pedigree by calling them "ignorant", "stupid", "troll", "ban them!" or worse, then you are doing nothing but making yourself look like a dumbass. If you don't know the answer or choose to not help them out, then exit out of the thread and continue on your way. No harm, no foul.

Third, if you truly think that a new member is someone who has a split personality disorder and is already registered on the site, let a mod or admin know and we can run the IP addy and check things out. Oddly enough, I read the previous posts from today, went and checked the IP addresses, and all came back clean. The other recent ones have been investigated and handled appropriately.

Oldtimer, I certainly don't have a problem with "telling it like it is." I don't believe in sugarcoating the facts. And I don't have a problem calling someone out who dug themselves a hole.

But this is about jumping on new members for no reason other than a) they posted a thread or b) they are assumed to be someone they are not.

We are here to educate, not run people away. We cannot afford to lose those people who can and will be educated all for the sake of a small handful that are here to cause trouble. Let's deal with the troublemakers on the side.

This has to come to a halt, from now on if I catch you bashing anybody on this site you will be banned no warning for three days if you come back and continue you will be banned permanently, This is your only warning I'm giving you.

And another thing dragging other peoples sites/forums here to bash same thing your gone.

Looks like everybody thinks I'm joking, from this day forward when I get home at night and I see post of members bashing our new members, I don't care who you are or how long you've been here if you a paying member or not you will be banned... I am getting very tired of it... I have asked nice as I could but its not working so no more Mr nice guy from me :(
