This post is only for the ones that don't know! If your starting out owning any dog you need to know health first! A high dollar dog house some toys and Eukanuba dog food don't make you a good pet owner! Forget about all this propaganda seen on the Boob Tube about how this product and that product can help you with your dogs! It's all bullshit...
So many owners don't even know how to pick a pup or dog much less know how to worm one. To many people worried about the type of dog it is and not thinking about "Can I take care of the dog". Who gives a shit if it's a gamedog or not at this stage of ownership! How about a Vet you can call 24/7 for your dogs??? I know that all I have to do is pick up the phone and call to get what I need for the dogs! Everyone needs a backup plan when owning any dog and a little common knowledge to boot.
Owning a dog cost money and will eat your income away if you don't keep it under control. So think about all the things you need and start adding up the cost for your record books. You may find better things to do with your money than blow it on dogs and all the Vet bills.
You need to have wormers on hand for Hooks, rounds, whips, tapes and Heartworms. Which is listed on this site!!!
First Aid kit which is also listed on another post on this site!
You need to know how to give Booster shots!
Don't even ask about raising pups if you don't have enough knowledge about what can happen to the bitch!
Dealing with dogs is not a walk in the park so think ahead a few years to where you might be before you take on a dog that will more than likely end up as a sheltered or Euthanized animal. Slick
