The moon tonite.........

As I went to lie down outside and think about things, I was struck by the way the moon looked. The sky is pitch black and mostly cloudy and the moon is this deep red color. It's too cool. I tried my best to take some pictures, but the real camera won't work for me and this digital camera is useless for pics like this, but here's what I got anyways.

That's pretty cool. We had a full, red moon the other night. Shoulda taken some pics.

I saw a moon like that when I was in the desert. It was called a "blood red moon" & legend has it when a blood red moon rises, someone is going to die that night. Nice legend, but sadly someone dies EVERY night, regardless of the moon phase or color of the moon, so I don't hold much stock in it. ;)

Nice legend, but sadly someone dies EVERY night, regardless of the moon phase or color of the moon, so I don't hold much stock in it. ;)My husband and I got married on Sunday, October 31, 2004 - on a rickety dock going out into a swamp pond full of cypress trees. That night we had our reception outside next to the swamp and the moon was either full or damn close, but it was also a blood moon that night. Things just fell together for us I guess on mother nature's part- it was a neat experience.

It looks very peaceful,like some where I would like to be,cause right now I live in the city and I'm not liking it, never really did.Believe it or not but this cityboy loves the country,FREEDOM!!!!!! And hopefuly on day I'll get my own place were I can have my cars on one side and my dogs on the other...AAAAAmen.
