Vaccination and over vaccination is a subject that gets brought up on a continual basis. Below is one vet specialist's POV. Other vets may "argue" that vaccines should be done on an annual basis.

Arizona Daily Star - Jul 29 12:13 AM WASHINGTON — Despite warnings that America's dogs are being vaccinated too much and too often, most veterinarians continue the practice as a way to keep clients coming in the door, according to a leading animal immunologist.

If in doubt, i would recommend a Titer Test. Info in the game-dog link below.

That seems to be the age old question. When I worked in Colorado the Vets I worked for did a Rabies 3yr(ImRab3) and DA2PPV every 2 years. This was the vx protocol. Pups had their boosters starting at 6-8weeks and every 3 weeks till 14-16weeks old. Then thier boosters at 1 yr and then the RV every 3 and the DA2PPV every 2.

According to them the University of Colorado started doing DA2PPV every 3 years. BUt they still wanted to get the clients in every yr for an exam. SO they did the rotating schedule.

But the Vet I work for here does it every year. Now I got a titer test on Scrappy this year and he was still good so I skipped his VX this year (he was not due for RV till 08)

So I agree with Suki when in DOubt get a titer test done.
