WOW New found respect

Ok I have a very new found respect for ya'll with yard. I am blessed to only have 2 dogs. LOL

I am house sitting for a friend that has a Presa Canario yard. And wow. To feed, clean and water it is a major task. It took me just short of 2 hours. And this is every damn day.

All I can say I know now for ppl to do all that work it is truly out of love for the breed you own.

But man these dogs shit alot in 1 day. I was surprised. And I can barely get close enough to the Shar peis to feed and clean (mean little bastards) and All but 1 of the Presas are cool. And I love the 2 house ones.

And Marty here I am bitching about these. Damn LOL I just do not see how you guys do it. But I am a stickler about fresh food and water and I do not want them to stay in poo. I am not sure if he cleans everyday. BUt on my watch they are getting clean.

I work at a clinic and where at work at the techs do everything. SO some days we are cleaning kennels. But at least it is in air conditioning. LOL

we do it for the love of our dogs,, it's not all what someone thinks it is,,, keeping up with all the crap and then have to worry about them 24/7,,,responsibility a booger,,,lol,,,its for the love if it wasn't i wouldn't do it,,,

It takes me about 3hrs. each day to take care of all of dogs. It's alot of work but it's definately worth it IMO. What sucks is when winter time comes along and it's dark by 5:30pm each day :/

It takes me about 3hrs. each day to take care of all of dogs. It's alot of work but it's definately worth it IMO. What sucks is when winter time comes along and it's dark by 5:30pm each day :/
Well, only to take care it takes me something about 2-3 hrs, but when I'm conditionating one or two dogs, it takes me 5-6 hrs.

it is very tough real tough as a matter of fact.right now i have 65 all total added quite a few from when i first joined this site.but the most i have ever taken on at one time was 110 and it was to much my cut off is 95.thats why i always say you have got to know your cut off.when i had the 110 only 27 of them were mine others i was watching or getting into shape fo rother folks.i to am a stickler for cleanliness i feed and water and give attention every morning,check each dog 100% for anything out of the ordinary,check each piece of hardware for each dog,scoop up after them,glance at hard ware before i go to bed again look the dogs over and scoop again if needed.it is only for love that we do it,lol.because for most folks it ain't worth it,but i will tell you this the more you do it the better routine you fall into.it takes me about 3 hours each morning to finish up with them.then i will unhook 5 per day and let them hit the spring pole or flirt pole and run around and just give em some time alone with me.i betcha you can not wait to get back to just your 2 dogs,lol.

I agreed! I could not imagine taking care of more than I do. I only have 9
here that I take care of, and I love them but to spend time with them, water,
feed and clean around their chain spaces it takes me a while. The really bad days is when I bleach out all the water bowls, I only do it once a week now.
My hubby use to try to do it two or three times I cant. I am a horrible mama huh?lol
