How long, and how frequent are your conditioning sessions?
I have been letting her hit the spring pole for 30min sessions 3-4 times a day. After each session of springpole, 5 min of fetch. Then a nightly mile walk.
I am also looking for different excersises to do with her. I don't really have anywhere for her to swim..
Thanks for any insight.

I walk my dogs for 4-5 miles a day, a half hour of agility training, 20 minutes of spring pole, and every other day 2 miles running along side the bike. I'll be increasing the running once I can get my lazy ass back in shape haha!
I'm far from a pro at any of this thought...it's just what I do lol.

I'm spending upwards of 3-4 hours a day, 6 hours a week with one in a serious conditioning program. Bonding is key, you can't just throw them on a treadmill, crack open a six pack, and take them off 3 hours later. Hard work on your part, translates to a harder working specimin, in the keep, and in the woods.
With a new dog, I try to get a little over 2 hours handwalking in 5 days a week just to get them accustomed to work, and get their pads ready for the final weeks.
No springpole, only one dog on the yard plays with the flirtpole. Handwalking, dragging weights when needed. If we're talking about getting yard dogs excersised, we walk them for about 20 minutes, let them chase the quad a few miles (alternating speed), or ride a bike with them a few miles, and walk them again for 30 to cool them off.

A weightpul harness, etc? Any pics? I am looking for other ideas.
Springpole she loves, that is why i let her play with it so much. I stand there the whole time with her, keeping her moving, etc.
As far as the flirtpole, i am a little skidish to let them use it again. I had one dog tear his acl, probally from all the hard cutting. After that surgery it has left a bad taste in my mouth to continue to use that.
As far as hand walking i love doing that with them. I just can't do it as long as i would like now that it is coming into summer here in AZ. The concrete is blistering. I love putting the time in, so that isn't the problem, i just need to get some more excersises that work for my situation.
THanks for the help!
