quite honestly, Jay, you really need to do extensive research on the bloodlines out and the kennels putting the dogs out... when you come on a board like this, you are going to get a different opinion from every person you talk to... alot of people will push the blood that they are running, so you aren't really getting an unbiased opinion... get to know the bloodlines that really interest you and see if they fit into what you are looking for... don't just jump into the latest fad or the prettiest pedigree... good luck in your search man and I wish you the very best with your search...

what do yall thinkI think you're being too picky. If dogs were bred for everyones personal preference then everybody would be a breeder of their own and the world be even more overpopulated with mutts.

Just research bloodlines and kennels and make your choice based off of that information, not so much physical features.

That is a good start. form a list of things you want and try to find them. Nothing wrong with having desires and being picky. Settle for no less than what you want.

well If you look into wildside's vador Puts out some dogs like you describe. I had a pup off of vador and he was a short stockey little guy ranging about 40 pounds and a decend size head and mouth. Not to mention the gameness that comes with that line. Also Something off of ch Blines Cowboy same style vador is also a son of cowboy there are pleanty of people on this site that run these lines including myself.

got to agree with atilla. settle with nothing less, heres a nice biased oppinion for you... ttturtlebuster if you can handle a fifty pounder. great dogs and they tend to have a nice big head and chunky compact musculature and overall theyre well muscled dominate-looking little buggers that i think your looking for... also any of the maverik dogs tend to run the same way.... check out blackforkkennels.com they've got about what you want
