Hello everone,

My name is AL, I am from Austin, TX. I recently started liking pitbulls after a friend of mine adopted one as a pet and we always thought they were a very dangerous breed but learned different through my good friend's pitbull. My reason for joining this Forum is to learn more about pitbulls and how hard or what it takes to actually train a pitbull to compete in weight pulling and stuff like that. I am also looking for a pure breed pitbull, the classic original ones. Because all I can find today is those fat stocky looking one, for some reason they always call razors edge or gotti. So it is great to be here and hopefully get to know everyone better soon and if anyone can help me in directing me to a website or a specific place where I can find an original american pitbull terrier from great blood lines and a healthy one from a good breeder please let me know. Thank you for taking your time on reading my introduction. Here are some pictures of my pitbull which at that time I did not know anything about gottis and razors edge but I still love him, for he is an amazing pet. But still trying to find that original pitbull look.

Kind Regards,

AL

Welcome to the forum... learn as much about the breed as possible before you get one. They are great dogs and they take alot of knowledge and time out of your life. SO be willing to give up something in return to owning the best breed on earth!!
