Hi All, I will be building a Carpet Mill from plans that i bought. Who has had experience building their own carpet mills? I live in Sydney Australia. Also if anyone know people that actually sell them here can you let me know. Might be building one for nothing .

surely in the years this has been open people must have built their own Mills? I have personally not heard of any people doing that here in OZ. Where would i be able to buy the front and rear rollers?

I don't know many people who build their own mills, really the good guys can sell them for cheap enough it's not an issue. I understand shipping may be an arm and a leg to Aussie land, but you rarely meet someone willing to give their "secrets" on building a mill out.

14rock Yeah most people dont want to share their secrets. What i find is you could give soneomne the recipy to what every and 95% of people would not do anything about it.
Onionhead - The treadmill plans i have are from Scott Freeze. Hard to find on the web but in there someone. People would have it. It is for a carpet mill. I am going to build one here in Aus as there are not many if any people doing them! Cost to import is high!
It would be so much easier with plans but having a father that weld it could not be impossible. If someone can help i would appreciate it. PM if you can assist.
How can i check your website Onionhead?

I am starting tomorrow building my mill, the person I got Fury from has a couple and I am going to follow his pattern mostly, except going to make it fold down when not being used.
