Calif especially Southern Calif is pretty much the Blue zone as i call it.lots of that gotti trash and the like.there are a couple pretty decent kennels there but they are not likely to be selling to the public.best advice is to order from out of state as was already stated.

yeah pretty much the entire state is the blue zone.they only know the 200 pound bluse dogs.and it is a shame because there used to be some fine dogmen through the state who had good dogs and the area always had fine dogs in it.hell even dick stratton lived there at one point and time in California i belive.but the state has gone down hill in certain areas as well also, never did care much for the folks out there because they were just to diffrent for me,but they did have some good dogs come out of Arizonia and California.

Old Timer, I assure you theirs plenty of active dogmen here, some of those that made their mark in the past are still showing also. South of the boarder is where a lot of the conventions are now these days, I've had the opportunity of meeting those I heard about as a teenager from the shows moving down there

I agree, CA is probably the Blue Cow capital of the world though

Well, and they banned tethering this year, too. So unless folks are ready to start building some serious kennels, there will probably be at least some leaving the state.

That's what I read. But still, you figure with the 3-hour time frame, you can't even go to work and leave your dog on a tie-out. Taking into consideration the arguments I heard from anti-tether folks in Texas, they like these laws because it enables them to get at folks they deem to be "dog fighters."
