I have a friend here at work whose sister breeds Pit Bulls and he thinks they are the best and told him if I posted the link on this site what kind of responses I would get. Please have at it and with your honest opinions on what you think of these dogs. I know this has been discussed many times over but he doesn't believe so I am doing this to prove it to him.

You could have directed them to the other bully bashing threads on this site to show them how we feel about those dogs maximus. The last thing we need is ANOTHER bully bashing thread. :rolleyes:

Overdone, overbred, not to any registry standard.....no health testing, no show records, no performance records. Let me guess, they are way overpriced as well? These are NOT Pit Bulls. They are morphs.

I showed him a couple of others but didn't want to compare his dogs with those as he thinks everyone knows the name, so that's why I started it.

They're American Bullies. I have American Bullies and they are NOT even close to the same as my APBTs, not even the same as my Am Staffs.

Where to start... If they do there home work on the breed and learn the history then they will see that these dogs are not APBT's. They are mutts, I have one, Tonka he would fall into the American Bully breed. That is if you want to call it a breed. Elite Edge has come up with their own kennel club just so they can register these mutts. UKC reg Razors Edge and the Gotti lines are just a bunch of mixed breed mutts that are no where near the breed standard and could never match up to the agility and stanima of the real APBT. I will say that I do love my boy and would never give him up for no amount of money or what ever, but I di get him before I knew what a real APBT was and what the history and life of one is all about.
I will not bad mouth them as bad as many others will because I have one and do feel for the ignorant people who beleive they have a APBT. I have mine because he was a rescue and I thought I was getting a pit bull and I got a mutt. Well anyways have fun people breeding and raising your mutts. The only thing that I ask is not to tell people or let people beleive they are getting an APBT, PLEASE let them know they are buying a mutt and thats all they are getting.

I guess ole boy didn't get the telegram that those dogs are American Bullys, not pit bulls.
Those dogs are American Bullys, not pit bulls & they certainly aren't the "best" pit bulls. Far from it. In fact, they are everything a pit bull is not. They aren't bred to pit bull standard physically, mentally or tempramentally. In no way, shape or form are those dogs pit bulls. Yes, they may have pit bull ancestors, but they are no more a pit bull than a Chihuahua is a wolf b/c it has wolf ancestors.
That being said, I'm jetting. This topic has been covered so many times before I'm sick of it, so I'm out.

They are cute dogs, but they're obviously not for pple on this site! To each their own though, i dont judge, if some like bullies then more power to them!

U said everything i was thinking....pple shouldnt be mad at bullie owners, they dont know any better...I didnt, when i got Max...But i still love him to death! But the breeders def should let pple know what they are breeding, UNLESS, they dont know themselves & are complete idiots!

I ain't "mad" at them, I am just sick of them calling their dogs PIT BULLS. You don't see poodle breeders calling their dogs any thing BUT poodles do you? GSD breeders know what their dogs are & call them by their correct names, why can't these people do the same?

Bulldog x APBT mixes "English Pits" & you can pick one up for about $75.

I like the banner that says: "Putting the 'Bull' back in the pit". Those dogs wouldn't know what a pit was if thier owners buried them in one:p
The sad reality is every new "pit bull" enthusiast assumes these are what pit bulls look like. They would look at most of our dogs and want to know what they are mixed with. Unfortunately, the almighty dollar is more important than education. And all these SOBs are in it for the dollar, they are gettin' rich off of jack-asses who think they are gonna get rich off of thier puppy-pumpers. As long as there is $$$$$ involved, we ARE NOT gonna teach them anything:(

I'm still waiting for the Java stuff to load, so I haven't seen the site yet. But I wanted to comment on the guy thinking his dogs are the best. EVERYBODY who is kennel blind thinks their dogs are the best. People who don't see any reason to show or even look outside their own dogs are always going to think that what they have on hand is the best that's out there. Its when you bite the bullet and put your dogs up against others' that you really get humbled. (Or you get stupid and make excuses.)
Okay. Seen the site now. That's disgusting.

why do they have such alittle doggy door? i know they dont expect those fat asses to fit through there!(unless they think they have something about the size of lilbit! kind of like the SHALLOW HAL movie)LOL not to mention how can you not see the english bull dog in those dogs!?
