his very first sentence suggests to me that this guy doesn't have a clue:

Every time I write about this, ah, feisty breed of dog - it's been about a year now since my last column on them - I'm quickly reminded that the only thing more aggressive than a pit bull is a pit bull owner.



a "pit bull" is NOT a BREED of dog! this alone, nevermind the rest of the stupidity, shows me this guy's level of intelligence when it comes to "pit bulls".

If she were close enough to me, Birdie & I would go visit her in person.

Or better yet, invite her along to my physcial therapy sessions where she just got another patient, an 87 year old man who had a stroke and REFUSED to do any therapy to throw a toy for her.

I wish I could take a camera man with me to the VA Hosptial when we visit. To the nurses & staff, my pit bull is a hero, she makes patients happy.

Freedom Of Choice...


The issue isn't dangerous breeds. The issue here is about human rights. We, as Americans, have certain rights. The same people who allowed you the Freedom of Speech (no matter how ignorant and misinforming), allowed us the Freedom of Choice. Even if you don't agree with APBT owners, you should in the least defend my right to own one; the same way our soldiers are defending your right to hate the breed I love.
The bottom line here is this, you are trying your hardest to take away the rights of those who choose to own American Pit Bull Terriers-not pit bulls, pitts or any other mis-informed label you use for them. They are AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIERS. How are you going to fight for your rights when the government starts banning the things you enjoy? Will you expect APBT owners to defend your rights when you refused to defend ours?
Please take the time to look up information on this breed: I suggest check out LawDogs.com. Also look up the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution.....
