Hey just wanted to post a little update on my friend dave. Here recentely he got into a motorcycle accident it is in another thread well wanted to post how he is doing.

Yesterday he had sergery on his wrist which was crushed in the accident. He had 4 pins and a plate added to his hand. Dont know to mutch about that kind of thing but his wife pam told me that he was having a bad time with it.

Well He couldn,t have serguary on his broken back because he was having stomach problems which has to be taken care of first. He seems to be doing better now eating hard food and taken off of the breathing machine.

He has several more sergerys on saturday. the guy has a verry hard time ahead of him and is still in ICU. We are having our bennefit dinner for him tommorow to help him and his family out so I will find out more then on his condition.

I am also going to go see him on sunday again.

This is a good friend of mine so i,m having a hard time with it to. I can imagine how his wife and kids feel.

Well I just got back from the hospital. Not so good news. With a shattered pelvis and broken back in two differents spots its caused more problems. They have trouble rotating dave. Infection has set in on his road rash and his skin is detarating in his back. This is due to no cicrulation of the blood and not being rotated. They say if the cannot get the infection stoped that he may not survive the week. I sat there in the hospital room and he could barley talk. He said to me roger why your to dam quiet. Why I just couldn,t think of anything to say. Well It was hard to see him like that so I couldn,t stay to long. But I got to spend a little time with him and i,ll probally visit him in the hospital later on this week before I head to kellyville. I,m giving him high hopes everything going good for him. Sometimes I doubt myself that he isn,t going to do verry good but I just start thinking positive again.

Keep thinking positive Rog. I'm sure i told you about my brother-in-law's accident=very similar to your friends: Doug was given a 0-10% chance to live.
He beat every odd, and is still with us today. Prayers en route.
May his will be stong and may he continue to be here with us. Just "be there' for him and his family and continue to pray=best advice i can give yah...

don't give up roger thats the worst thing you can do,and tell Dave to do the same.i betcha he will be just fine when it is all said and done.nothing defeats you sooner than giving up.and if he sees you giving up on him that won't help him none either.if you give up on him you need to find another breed of dog to have, because as you know a bulldog never quits and neither should their owner.
