I am in the midst of helping out a friend of mine research info regarding "pit bulls" for a book that is currently being written. What i would like and need from you guys is anyone's help, who does rescue, therapy, or the like, with their dogs, and/or if any of you have any positive stories regarding your dog(s) that you would like to see included.
May I have permission from you guys to snag some pics from your galleries as well? I will update you furthur as the book's progression continues and will notify those whose pics are selected, in case signatures are required.

Thanks in advance. This book's objective is to show the general population that the media "myths" are simply that "myths". It is our hope that after reading this book, people will view the "pit bull" in a new light.

fingers crossed.... tx again for any help with this.

please feel free to E-mail me with anything.:)

Most people don't know that Marty and Shon's Lilbit has a littermate brother in Washington State who is a working companion to a deaf girl. The dog has learned to respond amazingly well to a primitive type of sign language, and has become a "hearing ear" dog, so to speak. Watching those two work together is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Feel free to use any of my pictures. Also, Java is a rescue and passed his TT test with flying colors, plus was in our local papers for saving me from an armed intruder. I can write something if your friend's interested and find the article.
