Well, I hate to tell ya, but fish is contaminated with mercury and other heavy metals as well as (at least currently off the coast of Californai) a microbe produced by algae blooms that I cannot recall the name of.
Turkeys eat the same stuff as chickens.
The best thing to do is find a local producer of food, if possible, so you know what your food ate.
Beef are fed old newspapers, dead other cows(remember mad cow disease? Well it hasn't gone away) Umm, anything cheap because the agribusinesses that grow the food of the USA are interested in low production costs first and safety is only incidental.
So think about what you eat. Investigate how your food is produced and seriously consider changing your eating habits. I don't think our food supply is very safe. It is best to get locally produced stuff from people you know and trust...if you can find any. And yes, it will be more expensive... but I guess that is better than getting poisoned.

There is an idea, wild turkey.. I don't think there is enough wild game to feed us all in the USA though.
Sometimes I get sort of depressed about the state of the country and the world. This food poisoning thing is a case of it. There are positive things that can be done to make our food (and our dogs' food) safe, however.
