In the beginnin I wanted to keep a bloodline off of my male pup. So I picked up several females with the intention of keepin the line strong for years to come. Well I found out about all the breeders and dumbasses out there who are only in it for the money. So I changed my mind and sold all off but one. She stood out from the others. She was infested with fleas ticks and was skinny as can be. I nursed this dog back to health and gave her to my buddy to care for as I was havin some problems with animal control. Everytime I go see hows shes doin she totally ignores the world for me. Well my buddy tellme she aint doin good and I decided to take her back and the fuck with animal control. She showed no signs of being sick playing and runnin around . My family kept telling me she was acting as if she was goin to die laying down all the time. Everytime I was with her she never had any problems and would be happy as can be I said to myself maybe I should sell her and be done with it and keep only the males I had. Well every buyer I had I turned away lol. Each and everytime I thought of sellin this black dog I would bump up the price. Deep down inside I didnt want to but had to as she was co owned. Well this dog will not let anyone touch her she will bite a person as if she was going at a dog. But was gentle as can be with me. So today I get a call saying she is losing fluids really bad and she cant control her body. Well earlier today she was fine runnin around playing tug of war and all. I get home around 1030 goto the back feed everyone and look whos there waiting for me. Angel. She looked bad and I knew something was up she didnt look normal. She never showed signs or anything b4. I couldnt believe this sluggish dog standing there was the same dog. I knew she wasnt goin to make it lookin like that. Well I told her to go to sleep and to go watch my son till I get home to them. Gave her a kiss on the nose like I always do and went in to put my things up as I just came home from work. Everyone tells me to get rid of that dead dog. I said wat dead dog. They said Angel laid there all day in a puddle of water. I told them she was alive still and that I was goin to take her to be put down 2morrow. Well my son passed away on the 24th. Today is the 25th. It was only took me 10 min b4 I went back out to check on her and when I got back she passed. Never had she tried to bite or anything. The only thing I got from her was love. Sorry bout me writin a shit load but I thought I share a story about the so called cold blooded killer pitbull.

i'm very very sorry for the loss of your son,:( but if that dog would go after people like it was going after a dog, it should have been put down a long time ago. there is no room for human aggression in this breed and it is not normal, nor should it be tolerated. Well this dog will not let anyone touch her she will bite a person as if she was going at a dog.

But assuming it's not, it's just as well Angel passed. The dog was a man-biter & you were irresponsible & didn't deserve to own her in the first place. At least now a man-biter is off the streets, the suffering you forced her to endure is over & she is in God's hands now.

I'm not here to argue, or justify myself to you or anyone just thought I share a story of a good dog. She wasnt perfect but she was still a good dog. She has never bitten anyone while under my roof nor has she had the chance. B4 you say something you should think b4 openin yur mouth. I appreciate the support.

Well this dog will not let anyone touch her she will bite a person as if she was going at a dog.If that is your idea of a "good dog" hey, so be it. But it an abberation of temperament for the pit bull & IMO it's just as well that she is w/ God now. You should have put her down a long time ago. Instead you let her suffer & be a danger to others.

But there is nothing we can do about that now (*shrugs*).

U know when i first read this story i thought it was kinda sad, but after re-reading it i realized that u were very selfish by ignoring the obvious signals that were there. Everyone around u said the dog looks like its dieing but u said nah i think she's fine just because the damn dog gave u kisses and loved u, but u chose to ignore the fact that she would snap at people and the most likely reason was because she was in pain and was dieing. Any other person that would have owned this dog would have been able to look past the love and see there was a serious problem and have the dog put down, but ur just a selfish person and would rather let a dog suffer for years than give it the respect of letting it pass and not suffer any longer, ur worthless and shouldn't own any animals

I am curios as to why the dog was never taken to the vet? That could have been the reason for her not liking people & acting strange......and probably was. Poor dog. I am sorry for the loss of your son and your dog.

It was very selfish of you to let the dog suffer. She was acting strange for a reason and its your fault for not taking her to a vet and for not letting her go with dignity. I Hope you never own another dog!

Gotta agree with everyone else on this. I am sorry for your losses but at least she is no longer suffering and there is another man-biter off the streets.

Thnx to all for the support.first of all it looks as though everyone has supported you in the loss of your son. once again, a very tragic event that you have my deepest sympathy for.

now i don't know why you would expect to get support for a dog that you posted is human aggressive and would bite anybody it got the chance to except you. mr. mackey, this is NOT NORMAL behavior for an apbt. these are the kind of dogs that should be put down and NEVER EVER bred. it isn't a knock on the dog personally, it is a knock on the behavior and obviously for public safety and the betterment of the breed it should be euthed.

i hope this better explains everyones stance on this. please don't take it personally. i'm sure you know in your heart of hearts that this should never be tolerated and i don't blame you for getting a little bent as it is your dog that you bonded with and loved, but face reality please.
