All I did was change his feed, work him on the spring pole, and walk him 3 blocks everyday and he lost 6lbs. I'm 6'1" or 2" and he doesn't reach my knees. Just thought I'd state that because he may look big in the pics.

Wow they look great! Kinda unqiue coloring, what are they? Are you trying to build muscle only or stamina? Do you have any water where they can swim? I found that to be helpful as well. But since summer is getting closer you'll be able get out more often but they look good!

I'm more interested in stamina, and agility but hey if some muscle peaks then we'll take that too. My neighbor and I are going to start hitting the lake in a week or so.

Oh then you just wait till after they get some swimming time in you'll be amazed! Its crazy how well they build up after swimming but again they look pretty sweet. Also....I know its sounds nerdy but if you get a doggy back pack and start packing sand in each side, adding more as they get used to it it works a lot of extra muscles that dont typically get worked on regular walks!

Just keep feeding them properly with DVP and walk them a few miles every couple days combined with some flirtpole work, thats pretty much all u'll need and if swimming is available to u then that wont hurt either

My female looked even better last summer when were hitting the lake all weekend every weekend and she loved it. My male isnt as disciplined as her to run free.
I must admit I'm slightly sexist when it comes to dogs(my dogs). Then again it may age also because I expect my female to know better being that I've had her since she was 6wks and now she's 2yrs. My male is only 10 months and I've had him since he was 4 months.
