Georgia residents, did you know, that you can now help provide spay/neuter assistance throughout your state simply by checking a box on your state tax form? The Dog and Cat Sterilization Fund State Income Tax Checkoff is available, if you didn't already know, on your 06 state income tax form, line 32 of form 500 and line 15 of form 500EZ.

this company, which is Procter & Gamble's pet care brand, has relaunched its premium dog food line. (big deal, it's crap, imo, but anyways), The new "Breed Specific" formulas include food specifically designed for Labrador Retrievers, Yorkshire Terriers: this "line" will also be "sufficient" to feed long-coated toy dogs, such as the shihtzu, maltese toy poodle, pekingese Havanes and Ihaso apso's. A German Shepard formula is also coming out, a Boxer formula, and a Dachsund formula. hmmmm, for some reason i do not see a specific APBT formula??????:confused:
for owners of dogs that get car sick:
the FDA has approved Pfizer Animal Health's Cerenia for the treatment of motion sickness and acute vomitting. It will be available in 2 forms: tablets=motion sickness, and injection=acute vomitting. No specific date is listed as to when this will happen. Happy car rides will prevail, once again, ....

Today, April 10th is ASPCA Day. What, pray tell, is this, you may be asking? Well, apparently the month of April is: Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals month, and yup, today is the ASPCA's day of choice on which to celebrate this. The group is asking supporters to dress in orange to signal support for treating animals humanely. my bad, i wore pink today, .... still have 2 hrs left, folks, .....

Dogs and poisons on the rise, 80,749 reported cases, actually. Main culprits Human medicines=a 65% increase from 05=scarey shit, careful guys. Insecticides were second, vet medications (scarier), then comes plants: (lillies, azaleas, ..), rodenticides, household cleaners chocolate and chemical hazzards, i.e, paint thinners, drain cleaners, etc.
and lastly, tho there's a heap of stuff in here, Rabies cases drop 6.2%... ....sweet..... think the Chinese even wonder how we did that without beating the crap out of our animals????;)
