Hi everyone-im looking for a male pup and am not sure what bloodline to get.
I really want a small dog, maybe 25-35 pound range. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Most of the small dogs I've seen are Patrick dogs and some of the Boyles blood.

I was going to say that too. I'd look at some of Mr. Patricks stuff.

I have seen quite a few dogs down off this male that have been consistantly small, and I have owned 1 that was really small down off this stuff, you might be able to find soomeone that has stuff off of it... all of what I used to own off of this blood have since passed but I know there are still good ones out there off of this line... hope that helps... later..

All I can tell you is be prepared when breeding comes, I've had quite a few from ALOT of different lines that were under 30# and it's a b!tch when you go bred them to 40# plus dogs. Outside ties are common. . ..
Why are you looking for such a small dog? Not taking to you directly, but wanting small dogs is just as bad as wanting big dogs.

Small dogs are where the breed comes from my friend. Most of the original dogs were anywhere from 20-40 pounds and they just got bigger from there. maby i,m rong if so sorry but i like my small dogs.

That is pretty much right. I will not have a dog over 50. It either goes someplace else or I cull it. Plain and simple I don't like big dogs. 30-40 is golden for me. Put a few of them on a cougar and you got a job done right.
I'm just saying that people here don't want "big" dogs b/c of the breed standard. But wanting a "small" dog is ok? It's the same thing, just at the other end of the spectrum. IMO, a 25lb pit bull is just as 'out of standard' as a 70-80lb pit bull. Sure, it happens, but going out of your way to find a 25-30lb dog is no different than someone going out of their way to find an 80lb dog.
Honestly, I don't know what to think of some of the members at this site anymore. Everyone jumps on the "big dogs are out of standard, probably mutt bluffs, not a real bulldog" bandwagon, but want a dog that is 20lbs. That is out of standard, too. No matter which way you cut it. There's a lot of hypocritical statements being made. It's not ok to want a dog based on looks, color, or pedigree? But it's fine to get a dog based on size? I tend to think that people that want a small pit bull are just as guilty of seeking attention as people that want a bully. Think about it.

20 is low.
30-60 is standard I suppose if you have a 25 or a 65 your still out of standards. You have to deside at what point in that range you wish to be. and not go under or over.

Pretty much. I like 40-50. Not too small where they don't have any power, but not too big where they are too hard to handle. But I'm not gonna pass on a 60lb bulldog if it's a good one. Same with a 25lb one. But not too many 25lb bulldogs so I would highly doubt the competition.

I figured he would fill out some more. Good deal. He is looking damn good too. Thanks. Keep it up.

I thought the breed standard stated that the weight is not as important as much as the proportion of the dogs structure thats why u can have 25lb dogs within the standard and 65lb dogs within standard

here's what i found with a quick search
The American Pit Bull Terrier must be both powerful and agile so actual weight and height are less important than the correct proportion of weight to height. Desirable weight for a mature male in good condition is between 35 and 60 pounds. Desirable weight for a mature female in good condition is between 30 and 50 pounds. Dogs over these weights are not to be penalized unless they are disproportionately massive or rangy.

Depends on when. And what is perch? You mean the fish or is it country slang for something else?
