Well, I'm hoping not to be eaten alive on this community as on others :D

I've done a little more reading before joining this time around and you all seem like a great bunch. I'm sure I know some of you from other boards.

*gets on soapbox*

I live in New Hampshire, originally from Mass. I have two dogs of my own currently (live with two others).

One is a pitbull/carolina dog mix, Dunkin, he's the sweetest boy ever! Loves to play Mr. Mom, helped me raise foster kittens, etc. The only thing in danger from his is birds, chipmunks, flies....and lights reflecting on the walls. I rescued him and momma as a 6 week old from a GA shelter where he was going to be gassed (his time was up). I've been training him in agility and am competing for the first time this month with him.

My other boy is an APBT I also rescued from a high kill pound in CT. He was on the animal control van with several others on the way through the one way door. I grabbed him and a little 20lb female off and rehomed "Peanut". Java was an abuse/neglect case and had his papers turned in (colby on top, redboy/hemphill on bottom), but the pound doesn't pass along papers. He's an awesome boy! Much more dog than I've ever had the pleasure of working with...I LOVE it! I made him his spring and flirt poles and he'll work them for hours. I'm going to order a weight pull harness at the end of the month to start training him to pull.
