Man I am a very sad mma fan!!! St. Pierre lost in the first round last night and so did Diego Sanchez. The Sanchez fight was a boring one with Koschek winning every round but damn a has been got lucky and beat St. Pierre. Bad day!!!

Man now I wish I would havve gotten it on PPV. Might have to watch it today on replay. I was never a big GSP fan so I'm glad Serra whipped him.. but I certainly wouldn't have bet on Serra..lol
Now I'm curious what Minotauro is going to do in the UFC they just signed him.. ex pride fight heavyweight champ.
Any prediction on the Liddell Rampage fight? Mine.. Liddell KOs Jackson in the 2nd round.

I am still upset that Diego lost, he is a bad ass, Kos lost a pretty quick one to Joe "Daddy", so I was pretty sure that Diego was going to have it, lost $50 on that one...lol. But I won $100 when GSP lost so I came out with $50, not bad.
I think Liddel, will knock Jackson out.

I was 100% on predicting the fights last night, went to a local joint to watch the show on the bigscreen. NOONE thought Serra had a chance in hell, myself either. All I know, is if anyone was brave enough to bet against GSP with those odds, they probably went home a rich man. I offered to put a bit on it, couldn't get anyone to even go 50/20. Serra dominated on the feet, and when he put him out, the building was louder then the final minutes of a tied superbowl game!
I'm glad Diego lost, I felt he was overhyped, and KOS is a better athlete in general. Couple that with Diego's bluffing at weigh-ins and it was a real big peice of humble pie. He was completely outmatched, afraid to engage aside from a few haymaker flurries out of desperation. I was impressed, he was able to reverse into top position at the end of the 1st round.
Fight of the night, Goes to Huerta and Garcia, those guys were animals. Huerta definetly has a future in mma, he is just scary. I heard a bit about him going into the fight, now I can see why everyone was talking. He looked phenomenal, with some more experience and honing of his abilities, he will for sure be a contender.
I also couldn't believe Lil Nog getting a deal during the show, aside from the Diego/Kos fight and the main card, the sound was off, so I'm curious to find out exactly what was said!
Decent night, and Luke Kumo sent one out as well after taking the worst of it. His opponent was completely out of it, and was fighting the ref when it was stopped, he didn't know where he was at.
Gamest in show- I'd have to give to Garcia. I've never heard of this guy before, but taking the abuse he did with a smile on his face, was impressive. He put up a good show, and I'm sure Dana will be happy to continue putting him on cards.
Mike "Quick" Swick lost to a good Japanese former PRIDE fighter as well.

we cant forget about the mike "quick"swick fight either ...that dude lost his ass... i had money on him but hey we cant win them all ... and as far as the gsp serra fight OH MY FUCKING GOD i couldnt believe it i mean i bet on matt huges hes the fuckin man "a country boy will survive" anyway after he lost to gsp i really didnt see matt the terra serra having anything more than a punchers chance ...but on that note he did drop bombs on ol gsp its not like he beat him in technique <sp?> he just droped bombs they connected and the ref stoped it ... i mean he really couldnt "intelligently defend himself" so he really lost .. but heavy hands will do that to a guy i mean shit how many of those could a guy really take before he doesnt wake up for a while or ends up looking like "rocky dennis" and talking like "ALI" anyway it was a decent card anyway i was happy .... i just wasnt happy with all the outcomes lol then again im usually not lol

i would have bet the farm on st. pier but thats mma for ya. I will bet on chuck vs. rampage even though i love rampage he is funny as hell. I hate diego glad he lost I wish dieaz would have had another round he would have beat him also. I will almost always take a pride fighter over a ufc fighter nobody can touch fador. Clutch that pic of your dog is nice beautiful dog.

I have to agree with you on this. I've never heard of either fighters but they put on the best fight of the night. Garcia is game as hell. I lost a little on the Swick fight, but that's about it. It was a decent card. Can't wait until Randy vs. Cro cop.

I was pissed after the diego and koschek fight...it reminded me of dan sevren and shamrock's 2nd fight (I believe it was the second fight). I was hoping Diego would whoop ass again but, oh well... But I was glad to see Serra take the belt finally. I dont have anything against St Pier* but Serra deserves it. My fav. fight other than Serra @ George would have to be the light weight fight... it wasnt with anyone "big time" but it was definately a fight.
