Still if it's bleeding, you may need to cap it so it don't get infected. I was just thinking about dogs teeth and the vet last week. Made an appointment for China cause her right lower canine has turned darker than the rest. Keep an eye out for any swelling.

nop stupid mutt
silly dog!!!! ;)
my advice is:
just keep an eye on it, for signs of swelling=infection
typically if no pulp, soft tissue, is exposed, then it should be ok. but if you happen, upon inspection of it, to notice any pulp exposed, then you might want to bring him in and have your vet check it. if it bled, it MAY indicative that the pulp has been exposed, and bacteria can possibly enter thru that hole, which, can, in turn, infect that tooth, and this can be painful for Deacon, as the nerve may be exposed as well.
go look and see what you can see, and take it from there....
good luck!
hey, ps, pics are coming! ;) =set the printer up last night

Probably have to get it capped or pulled. I would say crate him while working the other dogs from now on.

You have three choices either leave it alone and hope for the best, have it extracted or get it capped. Extracting it will be the cheaper than having it capped.
But there is really nothing you can do for it at home.

Exactly, like I said earlier, watch for swelling and if it bled, the it likely went to the nerve or pulp. Hope he will be OK.

That's good. Just because he eats though, don't mean he's not hurting. He eats with his back teeth. Hoping for the best for you and him.
