View Full Version : Help with tight rusty D link .............

Hey everyone, i just pulled up my chain set up (axle) from the ground, the dlink is rusted , i tried getting it loose with ez -40 lubrication and no go, i even tried using a wrench and dat dam screw wont move an inch lol, any ideas on how to get it loose. Thanks

Sounds like you need a bolt cutter or grinder to cut the D link.
If you find a way, let me know. I always had to end up cutting mine off. Went out & bought a bolt cutter just for that. lol.

Liquid wrench and a propane torch....;)

I tried to unscrew it again and nothing, wont move, it seems like the only alternative is using a bolt cutter, I just wanted to have my set up above the ground for change and use the O ring , I just put a new dlink and burried that suker in , like it was before, damm, my right arm is tingling right now lol...........
