since this is the premier forum for learning about different gamelines i was curious if we could do a checklist. heres the question; What lines/crosses have you personally seen and met dogs from? which were your favorite?

ill go first:

ive seen dogs that were bred of these lines/crosses

Redboy/jocko
Bolio
Bolio boomerang
Frisco/chinaman
sorells/laposay/frisco
bolio/eli.
and soon will see some dogs bred down from BBB GrCh spikey

My favorite so far has been the Bolio dogs ive met. one of the dogs i walk is heavy on it and he sold me on it. real sweet dog and good athleticism. makes a great companion. I saw some other bolio dogs from a local oldtimer that were beauitful and sweet dogs. I saw amboss as well as some dogs off him and they were very well built. awesome blood. recently ive started to like the spikey dogs and imma have an opinion on them when i get to meet some soon.

You know, I never ask! LOL. Fat lot of help I'm going to be. I can tell you for sure I've met Whopper dogs, and dogs that are heavy Lar-San. The Matrix dogs are my favorite. Oh yeah, and I've seen some Wilhe Makit dogs, but I don't know if you'd consider that a line.

Honestly, the ones I've met seem to be fine. There's a big blue brindle dog named Cock-E that pulls around here. And in between his times up on the track, he sits in a chair and just watches the competition. They seem to be pretty good-natured teddy bears. :)

NO WAY could I remember all the lines Ive seen. I know some people with like 10 diff dogs all with entirely diff pedigrees. IMO its just as much the individual dog and owner as it is the bloodline that determines a dogs temperment.

Ive gotten to the point where some of the time I can tell how a dog is bred by looking at it. Certain lines carry certain traits to look for physically, but that is NEVER always the case.

Just as an example I will use the Hollingsworth line to explain. Hollingsworth dogs have a certain look to them that makes them easy to recognize. Eli type bred dogs also carry certain physical traits you can spot from a mile away.

between, shows, hunts, field trials, in travels around the world and so forth it would be impossible to list them all.
My favorite dogs have been my own.
I am a big fan of Mr. Boudreaux and dogs off his yard were always my focus. But I have seen some other peoples dogs I liked as well. most objections were towards the owner and not the dog.

I've been around a few differently bred dogs....Colby, Lar-San, Butthead, Boudreax, Chinaman/Frisco, OFRN, and a bunch I have no idea of their bloodlines or just can't remember right now. I really like the Colby bred dogs.....they are overly affectionate, have awesome intelligence and high prey drive. But they are escape artists extraordinaire, and tend to be excitement biters too.

I've seen quite a bit of different strains in just one yard. Shows are another good place to see alot of different kinds of bloodlines.

One of my favorite dogs is a Ch. Weird Jack to Ch. Boudreaux' Little Girl dog, then I've gotten kind of fond to Littleman's yard(Anderson's) whom my buddy has it all wrapped up which is basically Tombstone/Bolio with a quarter of Redboy and a quarter of Boomerang.

I've seen some whoppers, pretty much teddy bears like someone else said.

I also like scatterbred dogs, it's like a surprise in a dog lol.
