Come on pervs, put your pants up. lol

Well, i will explain my title by starting from the beginning.

I was walking my dog this lovely afternoon through the streets of "some large city in New York State" when i cross the street to go back. when suddenly, a 40ish # dog APBT jets toward us leaving me but seconds to react. At first, i was going to do what is my usual response. I was going to pick my dog's front side so as to avoid mine biting other dog. I quickly decided not to pick him up because other dog was almost same size as mine and would not avoid such normal reaction from a mature male dog with animal aggression.

Anyway, last second call, i decided to pick up my dog and turn to the side of the parked cars. I was about to place the dog on the hood of whatever car was there when that "whatever car" turned into a new BMW....lol....i still had the thought of having to pay for his scratched hood......so, turned again and twisted my left ankle. This twist, abrupt turns, and sight of 2 meter close dog jetting his way created an inadvertent bite to my right side of face.

Yes, I saw and felt it all. I blame nothing on my dog. He did not stay on my face....that sounds funny...hahahahaha......he bit and let go....he was just reacting to the madness around him (unexpected pick up, wild turns in air, and me twisting my ankle making my head come abruptly forward). He got me good though....lol....thanks to his canines...i just felt the warmth flowing from just outside the eyebrow thinking it was perspiration. My main concern at that moment was the twisted ankle. I had a bad ankle incident over a year ago "teaching" my daughter how to jump rope. The issue was that the jump rope was for her size not mine. hehe. yeah right. lol.....i turned the rope, got rope on my foot, and tore everything between my foot bone(s) and leg bone..........sorry people, got distracted by something lost my train of thought....next point..lol

OK, just read what I wrote. After spitting (saying) things such as how you have to keep your dogs on a leash no matter what their demeanor and what not....I remembered that there were several people walking through and watching "stuff" like this for the first time. So, i took the tissues people gave me and moved on my way making sure the owner knew HE WAS AT FAULT.

Anyway, once i got home and treated myself. Just the way i would have healed my dog in such event. what is the point of me posting what happened to me this afternoon? It is for people to realize that dogs are not like, less, or better than people. Dogs are different than people and should be treated as such. I saw, felt, and still feel the bite. I trust him now as i did before this happened. Please don't expect dogs to be like, less, or better than people. Dogs are DIFFERENT than people. I will help those that still feel my dog should have been shot for doing this. If your friend had some issue with another person and "swung" but hit you, would you think friend meant to attack you? Enough said.

As we speak, I have a very painful ankle and a painful dripping cut on the side of my face. The vertical cut was sealed after HP cleaning with the Betadine skin glue i have for my boy. I will also drink the Amoxicillin I have for him in case this happened to him. I will use the grms per wght ratio used in dogs.

Phew, i am tire and want to go nite, nite. Good night people.

I seem to have forgotten some pictures...lol. Here are two pictures of what resulted in the incident. Enjoy!

The red or purple part is where he grabbed with his flea biters.

I am one of the lucky ones who hasn't been bitten yet and i am so glad. I have had a few close calls but no broken skin yet. Oh btw thanks for the link to pit archives. Looks like a great site.

Wow that looks painful. I got bit by a bulldog that was coming full speed at my dog years ago.

I picked up my boy right before he would have hit him and the dog grabbed ahold of my leg instead. Of course the dog let go the instant he noticed it was me. It didn't even break the skin and I had a scar for 5 or 6 years!

I am lucky he missed my eye. lol

I woke up this morning with a headache (blame it on the beer.....lol), a swollen ankle, and stain pillows (from blood). I "had" to call out sick because the pain in my ankle does not allow me to place weight on it. I will have to make it better by this afternoon though, the dog needs to go out.

Yep, i feel initiated in the dog world.....it is too bad it had to be on my face though.

Since I had a tough night (boohoohoo), i have little will to write. Love and understand your dogs people! The next guy would have deemed him a people biter and would have killed him. I know better and realize it was a redirected bite. Where is my Canibus Hemp for the pain? lol, lol
