check this out like 5 minutes ago my mailman that been delivering my mail for like 15 yrs showed me a BIG BRIGHT ORANGE CARD that says TYPED ON THE CARD! WARNING MEAN PIT BULL LOCATED AT "my address" written in marker. and says that all postman have to carry in there bag . and this is for everyone in my area who owns a pit ... the thing is my mail man loves jager he even brings him treats. he even laughed about the card he (the mailman) also has a APBT .ISNT THIS SO FUCKIN RACIST!!!!!! MY DOG ISNT EVEN MEAN!!!!!!! GOD I HATE THIS SHIT... MY DOG MUST GO THROUGH SO MUCH CRUEL BULLSHIT AND THEY DONT EVEN GIVE JAGER A CHANCE TO SHOW THEM HOW GOOD OF A PITBULL HE IS . U know what pisses me off??? when i go to public places, and pple ask what kind of dog it is! I look @ them kinda confused(cause only an idiot wouldnt be able to tell its a pit bull), but proceed to tell them its an APBT...They're eyes open wide and they say---Nooo, are u serious??? i wouldve never known!

Like WTF, are they suppose to look like lil monsters or something???? What do pple expect to see, an evil mean dog???? Everyone who meets him for the 1st time cant get over how cute he is, then when i tell them its a pit bull they kinda back away...He's 5 months for christ sake, what in the world would he do to u??? And even at 12 months, im sure he will be the same! He tries to lick anyone & everything that he comes in contact with...pple really upset me, i still cant get over the fact that they dont believe sometimes its a pit!

lmao ... I remember years ago I had a little old lady pick up a 6week old pit bull puppy we had recently bought & she was petting him & cooing to him. Then she asked what kind of dog he was & when I told her, she almost dropped him on the concrete! I couldn't believe it! She was just cuddling him & letting him lick her face seconds earlier! But once she found out he was a pit bull, all of a sudden he was vicious & couldn't be trusted! :rolleyes:

Here if you have what is considered a "Dangerous Dog" the Fire Marshall will put a sticker on your house incase the Fire Dept. ever has to come.
Oh and a "Dangerous Dog" is any dog that someone feels is dangersous, meaning if your dog barks at someone they can call AC and complain. So AC, the Police and a Fire Marshall all come to your house to see, no joke, three damn people.

If it makes you feel any better, this kind of stuff has been going on for years. I know 20 years ago when my parents had pit bulls they had to put a vicious dog sticker on their mail box to let the mail man know a "vicious" dog lived there.

The funny thing was, I think the sticker had a pic of a German Shepherd's head on it or something. So that just goes to show you how breed hysteria runs in cycles.

My sis-in-law even said- They are the worst dogs ever created by God! That hit me hard & i was really hurt....When we brought Max home, nobody wanted to come over, even though he was only 10 weeks old. Pple said that we were ghetto trash that had no life & no job, thats why we got him. I couldnt understand why we were getting bashed so badly. I bought 3 pit bull books, read all of them to try and understand what it is that makes them "so mean" or what i should do in order for him to grow up none-aggressive! Finally i came to my own conclusion, a dog is a dog! Ive been bitten by a poodle yrs ago & by my aunts rotweiller, for nothing! Its all about the owner & how its raised! And as many pit bulls ive been around through out my life here in the US, ive never had one attack or show any agression towards me or anyone else i know for that matter! So here we were, being judged, because we chose this beautiful & intelligent breed, but nobody was educated about them so they turned our backs on us..My mom even said i cant come visit her if he's w/ us...
So long story short, EVERYBODY loves him now!!!!! I finally convinced my whole family & certain friends that he's harmless, and that i needed to bring him around them so he would grow up knowing them all....My mom w/ her pug & talking bird, my dad w/ his border colli, and even Scott's (my husbands) sister now loved him to death....They cant get enough of him, and always beg us to bring him over! In one month i taught him to sit, stay, lay down, roll over, give left paw, give right paw, put the treat in front of him and him not eat it til i give a command, and also taught him to put his head down while laying down! training him has never been easier. He's not stubborn, never chews anything around the house, doesnt bark- ever! very nice when he approaches new dogs & cats, and all he wants to do is sit or lay in pples laps and cuddle...So now everyone sees how smart he is and sweet he is, but i cant belive it took so much convincing 4 him to be this loved! My sis-in-law is now begging us to breed Max in the future and give her a pup! Its insane, everyone in our family is talking about adopting pit bulls now....but its sad how mean they all were to us and him @ 1st!!!!

You should call your local mail head quarters and complain about that letter you recieved, they usually give those letters to people that their dogs are loose roaming around their front yard and that actually shown aggression towards the mailman, if your dog is contained well in your backyard, i dont see why they sent you this letter, tell em whats up........................

Some like 10yrs ago we recieved a letter like that from the mailman, but it was because my brothers chow mix was always loose, yea i tolde em so, but he never listens...
