.................................................. ...........................

I have a friend who works in Petsmart. Today the Nutro rep. came in the store and, to make a long story short, started restocking all the cans of bad food that was waiting on a pallet to be returned to the company. The store manager came

and told him what did he think he was doing? He told the manager that Nutro had ordered him to restock, that there is no
proof their food was tainted, and he was going to restock.
Well........ the store manager took him into the office, had a few "words of prayer" with him and told him to get out and don't come back, manager would call the company, etc., and out he went.
I have left out the friends name, of course, and the location.... ..to protect the friend. But I wanted everyone to know what this one company tried to do in this one store.
And let this be a lesson/warning for everyone.
I am putting this message out on every group, etc., that I am on. I am doing it in the name of all the pets who have died
because of all the recalled food, Nutro and otherwise.
I am beyond furious.
If you feel you'd like to copy & paste the above, starting with "I have a friend," and send it along so that everyone can see
what these people were trying to do.....and how a strong Petsmart manager kept him from doing it......please do. I have
sent this to all my groups & to Dogster Food & Nutrition forms.
Thanks again for the picture and Sarge story.......it's a wonderful counterpoint to the Petsmart/Nutro incident. Three of
my buddies on Dogster are ill with kidney failure from the recalled food.......and two have died.

If the reps are told to do it in one location, you can bet they are doing it in all locations. That's sorry! I don't associate with any Iam's products because of their negativity about the breed.

THIS IS NOT TRUE! I wish people would stop posting this garbage around without checking into it first. I have spoke with two different Nutro reps at work and they both said that they have never been ordered to do such a thing! And this is the first they have heard ANYTHING about this! Please please do research before you post things like this!

That is horrible and exactly why commercial dog food is in such bad shape.
But I agree with highvoltage. Not all reps have been ordered to do this. The Nutro and Iams/Eukanuba reps here have certainly not been ordered to do any such thing, nor have any desire to. They are just pointing people at other foods.

Its a sad situation i worked as a Vet asst./Kennel lead in VA and when i moved to GA i got a PT job at Petco. i came in one day this week and people were coming inthe store worried about their pets. Our store had pulled the alot of brands. i dont usually recommend the ones that got pulled anyway.when i was in va i know the vet i worked for swore by most the brands that got pulled. i wonder what is happenin at that hospital since thats all they sale? i know this was an incident and i am not bashing the brands and most importantly i feel for the people who had losses. as i said its a sad situation.

God bless
