NO NO NO! Cooked bones of any type (be it pork, beef, or chicken) will splinter and could cause serious gastrointestinal damage which could result in death.

Only offer raw bones to your dog. You can actually give your dog raw chicken quarters, beef knuckles, etc. but I would steer clear of raw pork. I know some feed it to their dogs, but I don't feel comfortable with doing so due to certain bacteria found in pork.

How About Raw Meat And Would That Cause Worms ?only if that meat were infected with the worms. im not sure ,but i believe the whole worms from raw meat idea comes moslty from pork as pigs are more likley to have the tape worm larvea

I'm pretty sure a dog is far more likely to get worms from sniffing a strange pile of poop than eating raw meat. I feed human-grade meat, like chicken quarters and turkey necks. Loki digs her raw food immensely. I wish I could afford to feed it as a more substantial part of her diet, because she looks great when she's been eating raw.

I think most worms live in the intestinal tract, although I'm no expert. So if you're feeding muscle meat and bone, there should be no worms. If there are, I would suspect the source where you're getting the meat from. Also, if you're keeping the meat at a proper temperature (ie, frozen prior to feeding), I'd imagine that'd kill off any worms that might be present.

Actually pork is one of the safest meats these days. I eat my pork so that it is about 150 degree in the center a far cry from cook it till it's jerky.
Are for parasites in domestic meats it is not that common these days. But you will find parasites in the meat of wild game and also some large fish, like swordfish.
