Well the great thing about that (other than the dog wasn't punished for the brat ass kids behavior) is it got a Thumbs Up from the media which is usually biased against the breed.

I may be wrong in saying this but, oh-well. I think that ANY dog that gets beaten by ANY human (kid or not) has the right to attack full steam ahead. I am proud of the dog for not taking that shit and the kids got what they deserved. I am glad to hear that dog will be returning home soon.

No, any idiot that hits an animal has to expect it to react by the Fight or Flight theory, and if its cornered or on a leash, it can't run so your chances are good for being bit and I think the dog has every right to do it at that point.
