He has no problem sleeping the whole night in his crate without having to pee, its just when i crate him and leave the house, he does ok if my other dog is in the house (not crated)with him, but if he is crated and alone in the house and its more than 1hr i come home to a wet crate, i got a feeling he doesnt "have" to pee , sort of when a dog marks its territory when you walk it, any suggestions.
Ps, Achilles is 1yr and 8 months, intact male, at night he is crated in my bedroom, when i leave home is crated in my room aswell.

LOL Spiteful pup ;)
How big is his crate? Maybe if you put him in a smaller one he will stop doing that before it becomes purely habbit for him
Do you have any other dogs??? Are there any females in heat around? Is this a new behavior?

LOL..does sound a little spiteful there. I agree though a smaller crate may possibly stop him from doing that, for whatever reason he has to do it in the first place. Most dogs do not like to wallow in their unrine.

I dont think thats the problem as his crate is just right for his size , I have a female neo mastiff and female puppy , non of em are in heat, like i said he can be the whole night in his crate silent as mouse, its just when i leave him alone in his crate for over a couple hrs , sometimes he will pee in his crate, yesturday I crated him outside in the backyard, with the other dogs, i was away like for 3hrs +, came back the crate moved a bit from its original position (always does lol), but no pee yea!. It could be he doenst like being alone, we also have to work on his barking/crying like seal , glad i have tolerant neighbors lol.

Turn up the radio when you leave the house so that he doesn't hear you leave!
