bad dogs!!

Sorry about this but i just have to vent.I let the dogs out for a bathroom run,when they didnt come back after 10 mins i called and called them,they wouldnt come which is odd cuz they always come.Well anyway i go out there and theres 4 baby opposum scatered around the yard and joe and izzy have the half dead mama cornered as soon as they saw me i guess they figured their fun was up so they both set about ripping it apart.Now its midnight ,20 degrees outside and i have to wash off two bloody foaming dogs and pick up guts from the backyard.The dogs are in the garage right now i had to leave them for a minute so i didnt kill them.Well guess i better get to work.

Dogs are carnivores? The two dogs were let outside unattended, and did what they would of done naturally. Wash them off, clean up any small wounds they may have gotten, and let dogs be dogs.

Cats, opossums, rats and birds come to yard cause it's built like a jungle. My dogs chase like crazy. Max will get lucky and catch some live game lol.

AAWWW...that ain't nothing, my little mutt does this everytime I let him loose somewhere.....he could find and kill a coon up a cows ass.......dogs will be dogs. Like 14 said, clean them up and let them be. If you don't like it well, you could always make sure you are out there with them.
My little mutt has gotten a hold of coons, opposums, squirrels, them beaver looking things, cats, birds....you name it. Hell one day he had come in the house and barfed up a the tail of a coon....LOL....It was so nasty, but he had a blast!

got em cleaned up no one was hurt just a couple scratches.I know its what dogs do but damn do they have to do it when its 20 degrees outside!joking.Im not really mad at them just wish it was summer so i could hose em off and leave em outside.I decided im not cleaning up the left overs though,my boyfriend can do that when he gets off in the morning!

That's just dogs doing dog things. Of course they have to pick the most oppertune time to do them! My girls have birds, squirrels, mice, rats, moles and chipmunks under their belt. One almost got a chicken before I got her away from it. Dumb bird jumped the privacy fence.

I know dogs are dogs and this breed are crazy son of a guns lol, but, do you have a solid fence around your property, if not , its not a good idea to just let pitbulls do thier business and wait for them to come back on their own, you might never see them again, could get hurt, or the Ac could come down knocking on your door.
