Ok folks I have this buddy of mine that can build anything if he has the schematics for it. Well he's offered to build me a treadmill free of charge if I can get him the plans for one. So does anyone know of a page that has the schematics on building a carpeted treadmill? I ain't having any luck finding one.

Well thats why I was hoping someone that wasn't a mill builder might know of a website or something that had the plans on it. Because I can't see paying $300+ for something I can get someone to make for cost of the supplies and a 1/2 gallon of apple brandy

If he is talented in that fashion, you should be able to bring him some photos and he should be able to figure something out.

He said plans would be easier.. but he could build it if he had a front, side, and back photo.. Thats what I am looking for now.

I think I'm going to start making treadmills in the future. I've always been one to take things apart and put them back together or figure out exactly how something works. I just wonder about how much it will cost to make one...

I found this site to be very helpful. Maybe your friend could use it as well?

Thanks... that would be awesome. I looked at the balkan boys website and man that treadmill looked insanely hard to build.. But I'd like to see your plans.
