I have a pound of chicken liver that I bought to make treats with. Problem is I am not good in the kitchen, wife is gone at work and I am bored as hell! Any input would be greatly appreciated.

feed the pup small pieces of the liver raw, its the best treat u can give the pup. In its raw state live is full of great nutrients and vitamins, but once its cooked a lot if not most of the nutrients are cooked out

Do you have a food processor or blender? Liquify the liver with some water or broth of some sort. Then add Brown rice flour, or oatmeal, eggs, garlic etc until you get a batter. Spread it on a cookie sheet covered w/alum foil. Bake at 350 for about 30 min. Cut up and bag it up and refrigerate. Don't feed too much as she might get the squirts. I use beef liver for mine. They love it.

boil some water.. and drop them in for no longer than a minute. :30 would be better. splash some vinegar on the be4 u cook them, it will kill the rawness. mix them with some brown rice be good to.
I would have said to feed it raw, too. And go Cowboys! (next year.....hopefully)

Loki digs it when the husband goes fishing, since there's liver around. I just give it raw. One or two pieces at a time.
Raw livers won't hurt her. A dog's digestive tract is actually set up to consume raw meat. A lot of ppl feed raw diets w/ much success.

Yup, I agree with serving small portions of raw liver. When I say small, I mean start very small and watch the stool. Start with a quarter size piece and watch for 24 hours. If stool looks as solid as before, give two quarter size pieces of raw liver and watch for another 24 hours. Raw liver is very, very nutritious and may cause loose stool if fed too much.
