i know many of you from myspace groups. marty's been posting a lot lately, and i really enjoy his views as well as his amazing dogs (lil' bit in particular).

im obviously new to this forum, but i've browsed it in the past many times.

we have 2 pit bulls, one a purebred from competing lineage that we bought from my former boss/dog trainer. she was the runt, weighed 4 pounds at 9 weeks and nearly died repeatedly. shes now 50 pounds, just coming into her own, and really starting to impress us.

the other pittie is a mix we think, we rescued her from our local SPCA. she was my first venture into the bully world.

we also have an akita. my hawk. my family had akitas for 35 years, so i wasnt raised with breed bias. i was also raised in a show/breeding home, and was always drawn to many dogs in the working group, and ONLY the bullies from the terrier group. :) i have always thought they were impressive, remarkable, and beautiful. so in turn, thanks to my akitas i have become a pitbull fanatic now as well.

we also own a boxer/cane corso mastiff rescue mix. hes a great dog and very agile. i'm hoping to maybe get him into some agility in the future. the only LOCAL agility trainer/club here though is anti training bully breeds. ugh. so obviously we wont be training there anytime soon.

i only have one question. how do i upload an avatar? am i allowed to upload from my own documents without having a paid account? i didnt see an option to upload an avatar, only the generic ones. :)

by the way, yes, that is our purebred APBT, athena, in my sigtag.
