What the...? They are going to make a middleweight fight a heavyweight? Lindland fights at 185 and Fedor 233! I mean, Lindland is good but not that good. Ouch....it will NOT go beyond 5 minutes.
I guess they had to find a replacement for the Open Weight Champion who went to UFC. Hmmmm, I can see it in a year or so, UFC Heavyweight Champion Vs Pride Heavyweight Champion.....that will be a good one....(cro cop vs Fedor).
IMHO, Cro Cop has a great probability of winning. I was pissed at the ref in their only encounter. Effing Judge gave Fedor plenty of time to rest on numerous occasions and then place them back in the ground which his Cro Cop's weakness. I certainly would bet money and Cro Cop beating the unbeatable Fedor. You can take that to the bank.
Poor Lindland though......hope his medical insurance is up to date.

It is going to take a flawless fight, by a man of similar ability and size to Fedor to win, Lindland does not fit that bill. Got to say I respect him for trying, but damn....this is suicide. Right now, the only one who can touch Fedor is Crocop, with him skipping the rematch to sign with UFC it appears it will be awhile before the champ goes down. Hopefully Dana White and Pride work something out, and allow a match between these two phenomenal fighters in the near future, which everyone has been begging for since the first fight, and by those in the know, before they ever faced eachother. I wonder what is running through Lindlands mind right now, as well as his camp. Respect the man to death, but this is insane, there is damn near a 50 lb. weight diffrence. In that level of competition, that is a ton. Also, I love how Aleks steps up and fights anyone who can't go into his big brother. Anyone catch the backstage video of Fedor during the Aleks/Cro cop fight....?
3 warriors, hopefully they break it up before we lose one deadgame due to pushing weight into an ace!

.
Fedor is actually no longer with Pride. He has signed now with Bodog. Everyone seems to be jumping boat after Pride said they are "for sale".
Oh, and the best to Jeremy Horn for winning his fight! :D

Ahhhhh! Cro Cop! Yea!
Is anyone else eager to see Silva and Lutter? I LOVE the Muay Thai that Silva brings! and Lutter continues to impress me with his BJJ. A lot of people seem to think it's going to be over in two seconds, but I don't think so.

As long as we are talking good fights, do watch the Gomi vs Diaz event on PRIDE's "Second Coming". Although Gomi is great, he is fighting a top contender in Nick Diaz. I believe Diaz will win this one.

We'll have some fighters coming in all the way from Arizona, will be selling tickets soon! I don't think many of you live anywhere near me, but you MUST come check it out if you can! I can't wait http://www.game-dog.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

Let me know how much you will be selling them tickets. I might just take 2 1/2 hour drive to watch them.
