Suzie's Whelping!!!YEA

I dont know what it is about right now, but both Suzie and Mocha started at about 1:30 whelping!! Suzie is having her's as I type. She has had one so far, a chocolate male, and I am just hoping that she dont go through 12 hours like Mocha did!!! She started labor about 10 also. I wont be doing the play by play this time, unless it just gets so drawn out that I am going crazy!! But I am so very happy that she is having them!! I will chime in when the count is over!

Well, final count was 6 male, 3 female. However, 1 male, and 1 female did not make it. The rest are doing well. They are chocolate and chocolate brindle red nosed, a few have a thin white streak down their muzzle between their eyes, and a small white patch on the chest. They hit the ground runnin!!LOL I dont gues I have ever seen pups come out of the wound so active! They are all very consistant. This turned out to be a nice breeding. I believe that this will be a statement that will prove to be true. I also believe that they will turn out better than I expected. They have long necks, and nice structure to them. Will take pictures either this afternoon or tomorrow and will post then.

Yea, they are so cool until they are whelped, then the work really begins!( I am speaking of picking up the poop!!). They are all so very cool. It is also a very good experience for my children. I just wish they could have been awake for the birth process, would have been a very nice oportunity to teach life lessons, if you know what I mean.

We are having a miricle here right now, my wife loves a clean house, so for me to have talked her into letting both bitches HAVE the pups, and keep them in the house, instead of the whelping pens is a miricle!!LOL

Fact is, many folks have pm'd me about getting pups from me, and I have pointed 99% of them in other directions. If someone gets any of mine, they go through rigorous testing, and even then if it dont feel right, they dont get one. The only one on this site who has gotton anything from me is Attila, and we traded for that one, and it was a half breed of a dog that had been given to me, not knowing that the dog was bred already to a lab! Thing is, what I do with my dogs, whether I give them away, sell them, or take them out back and put a bullet in their heads is of no concern to anyone but me. It should be comforting for you, and anyone else who has any concern about this breed to know that any dog that leaves my house goes to a good home. And I dont draw a line at experience, as long as the person is teachable. Do I sell puppies? Sure do. Sometimes the feed bill account gets low and must be replinished. To anyone with money? Hell no. Too many fools out there try and raise them like they are labs! I do however run a school to teach people about how to be a responsible owner of a good dog.

I got a question for you. How many folks on here peddle puppies? How many times do you think that I have recieved emails from people trying to sell me puppies? Can you guess?

Another question. How many people here have tried to peddle puppies to newbies here who are clearly uneducated to the breed, and would clearly breed the dog in the 1st or 2nd heat? Can you guess? Because I have had begginers pm me asking about dogs for sell, and tell me that "so and so" is going to sell them a puppy!

Maybe that question did offend me, come to think of it. I hope I took it wrong, it must have for me to write what I just did.

I wonder what would happen if every one here actually did take the mask off and reveal who they really are, and what they really do. I , for one, am exactly who I claim to be. I am not worried about what anyone on this site, or any other think about me. I am who I am, dont like it, that is fine! There have been many times I didnt like my own self.LOL And another thing, which is more important to me. A hypocrit is a person who wears a mask, presents themselves as something they are not, and from my bible study, no hypocrit will enter into the kingdom of heaven. Thats great that you screen your homes for your dogs. And you're right, it is your business what you do with/to your dogs. I said nothing about that, as its not my business.

I didnt get offended or think you were being rude. As a matter of fact, typing my reply to your post was threapudic!!LOL Allowed me to get some things off my chest, of course I didnt mention all the paper hangers here!! Have seen several of them. I dont have to confront all these, and ones described earlier, as I have my hands full confronting church people!!LOL I'll leave the other up to you all.

I must say this. There is nothing wrong with breeding dogs, and selling them. Heck there is nothing wrong with asking about them. What bothers me is the doing one thing, and acting another way. I wish all this had been said on a thread all its own, as more would read it, and hopefully, yet doubtfully, would come out of the closet, so to speak.
