Innova Evo for maintenance dogs?

EVO is not a good maintnence feed, its way to high in protein, very hard on your dogs kidneys.

The regular Innova is what you should be feeding.

evo is good dog food.... kinda of a blanket statement saying its to high in protein and hard on kidneys ... different things work for different people go for it

A "Blanket" statement would be saying your loves it, has high energy and a nice coat on it and rating the feed based on this. You can't see your dogs insides and this is where damage is being done.

and getemassius I never said Innova wasnt a quality feed, its is but Evo isnt neccessary or beneficial for daily feed, thats what I said

since youre so education on canine nutrition, educate me on why a dog would need 42% protein and it's benefits

<SCRIPT type=text/javascript>vbmenu_register("postmenu_183469", true); </SCRIPT>im telling you what it does for my dog....i know my dog and how she feels...before the food her energy was decent and her coat was always breaking out...i changed to evo and her coat is great her energy is better than ever and shes an around healthy dog...i got a bill of health on her before the dogshow in cleaburne and the vet said shes one of the healthier dogs he sees...ok then, whats the best food...why would the sell it if if was that bad....42% isnt bad for them if you put it to work...i have an extreamly active dog and it works very well if you have a dog like mine....

why is it bad? i have had my female on it for two years and her blood work has come back excellent everytime! Not to mention all the other perks i have seen from it!! (small stools, better coat,nice smelling breath, tons of energy) i am a believer!

i think the concern about high protein levels is not a months, 1 or 2 years but effects after 6 7 8 years of useage.
