This was a really nice and interesting topic over on another gamedog board so I figured I'd bring it up here. Sorry if something like this has been posted before...


If you could pick any dog and bitch in history to start your yard from, who would you pick? Why?





I forgot what stud I picked at the time but I know I definitely wanted Awesome Baby! ...for obvious reasons.

I think it would be a nice breeding, Jeep/Redboy/Jocko/Yellow. Then again, I'm new to the whole bulldog world. I've got someone to take me in and show me everything so by then I should be able to give a more experienced and knowledgable answer. :p

Hard choice. Either Ironhead, Dibo or Eli Jr. would be my main stud. The bitch would be Honeybunch or Patricks Red Baby. I know I answered kinda corny but who wouldnt pick any of the above dogs to found a yard on??

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions..Well I was thinking Earl Tudor, Howard Heinzl, John P. Colby, even Joe Corvino as a start for my old time breeding foundation. If, I was born back in the good ole days. But, as of now the present era what I would like to experiment on is Colby x Patrick's Bolio (No Maloney blood) w/ a splash of B.Sorrells, also after reading about the Boudreaux dogs & becoming attracted to them I would do a Boze x Brendy (Eli) w/ a dash of any old Carver blood, & last but never the least Jeep/Redboy/Jocko or Jeep/Redboy x Boyles. Enticing isn't it ? I hope that this tickles your fancy. May the good Lord bless you...

Lol..Another that comes to mind is Giroux's Gunner x Boudreaux/Clemmon's Brendy, Carver's Bolio x Crenshaw's Honeybunch. Also, the Lightner & Greenwood blood are both quite interesting. Things that make you go, HHHHHHMMMMMMMMM..(How can I delete this ?, as this was sent prematurely. If anything, disregard as I have another on page 3. My hands were moving quickly & the sensitivity of my laptop, got this out too soon)..

Oh! Thank-You, my brother I got caught with my hand in the cookie jar again. Can't never seem to get enough, though. That old blood, just seems like their absolutely double tough. But, besides all of that, it's just uplifting reading your encouraging post. God bless you my brother.

This is like fanatsy sports but for dog people. IF some one said I could have any dogs from the past for foundation stock I pick at least these dogs; Honeybunch, Patrick's Red Baby, Carver's Black Widow, Patrick's Lady in Red, Gr. Ch Art, Eli Jr. and Bolio.
