Anyone know of any other reputable breeders of bolio dogs other than mr.patrick? I have a dog from him and I would like some more but I don't feel like paying 1000 for another puppy. Any info will be appreciated

The Milkman has some Patrick stuff and so does V. Cooper, but it is tough to find really straight stuff outside of Patrick's yard. Most is crossed into other lines. Best bet is to look on the Pedigrees Online Message Board and keep and ear out.

As long as Mr. Patrick is around and breeding good dogs, I'd go there. Your not only buying a pup, your buying the product of years of hard work, part of a legacy, and a very small portion of his knowledge in these dogs. Hopefully it wont be long before I have the space in my own backyard for more dogs, and I will be calling and making a trip to visit the man when that day comes.
Yes, Mr. Cooper also breeds good dogs, but chances are your not going to be able to get one. He doesnt have a website, so for internet day-dreamers, he's not the man to bother.
Ablizin has well-bred dogs, but Im not sure I like what I've been seeing from that camp. He's ruined a few good ones, and percentages of good dogs coming directly off his breedings are low, especially compared to the high-quality animals he's breeding around.
Kronicboyz also have some very nice "patrick" blood, as well as some quality outs for their blood, which I hear is working fantastic.
The bottom line is, look at where all these good dogs are coming from-Mr. Patrick. After all these years, he's still producing phenomenal dogs. Sure, others are buying them and making the dogs famous, but do they have the understanding of the family to breed off these dogs with successful results for 15+ years, or is it going to be a family which dies in a few generations, cut off from the roots? Theres not many places I'd pay $1000 for a yearling, let alone a pup, and yet I'll still buy a few off P.P. when I have the space, if that tells you anything.

Thats the only downside to Patrick's is that the dogs cost so damn much. That has it good and bad sides to it I suppose. A pit is a working mans dog and working mans prices are what bulldogs are all about. You do get what you pay for from Patricks tho.

Ive had dogs from sin city and a pure patrick bitch, and a bitch of Amboss. And im gonna say this. I LIKE THE PONCHO DOGS. If i was looking for a source of bolio that is where I would go! The poncho and poncho crosses are really nice animals. I dont care what people say about CA JACK or the rumors that are out there. I have seen myself some really impressive dogs down from the poncho line. This little dog here is a beast!!!! not a poncho dog but bred by vise-grip.

all the ones that I have seen bred by vise grip are outstanding athletes and all around bulldogs.

Exactly!! They are Fastlane, hard nose BULLDOGS!!. Im in the process of getting some poncho dogs from Vise-Grip, to breed to my RBJ bitches. They only thing about them, they tend to run very small. 30's. im hoping the RBJ bitches I have will add some size to the poncho dogs.

i heard on another board the patricks frequent that if you buy a pup from them, even if it doesnt work out you sign a contract stating you will fix and keep the animal as a pet. is that true? like i said emily frequents that board often and didnt say anything when the topic came up.

I would go get some of someone who actually uses there dogs. You would probably save money and you would get a dog from tested stock. JMO

That's BULL. You are free to do anything you want with your purchase.Sorry Blackbeard, but you are flat-out wrong. You most certainly are NOT free to do anything you want w/ your purchase. If you sign a contract as part of the purchase agreement you are legally bound to abide by that contract.
Well, I take that back. I guess techincally you CAN do whatever you want, but don't be surprised if you get hauled into court for breach of contract!
I have used s/n contracts, as well as ownership contracts. I have had a few jerks violate them. But my contracts always stood in a court of law & it always cost the person who violated the contract. And it hit 'em where it hurt too - the pocketbook! I usually got the dog back AND some money out of it as well. Plus, the person who violated the contract had to pay legal fees. ;)
But back to the topic ... once you sign that contract you waive up any "rights" you have as a purchaser. If you do not agree to a contract's terms, don't buy from that person b/c terms of contracts can & are enforced.

I've bought 4 dogs from them without the need of signing anything, but then again I've known them for years. I guess it might make sense to have unknown people sign such a thing, you know the "cover your ass" type of thing.
