There is only ONE "T" in PIT Bull . Sorry for posting this but that is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. and I come in here and I see Thread titles and posts today with 2 "T"s . I couldnt contain myself!

OK, while we're at it, Bread is something that is sliced and toasted. Please use the correct spelling, like bred or breed. It'll make you look smarter, and your posts easier to understand.LOL yeah "bread" is another one I hate, But I didn't see that in any of todays posts!

Ya, What about what my friend Esse said? Not every one reads the dictionary. I for one ride the short bus with the tinted windows. I speak and spell redneck real good. RNU graduate. Red Neck University. lol Gesh The word's that I hate are Pet Bull or Liberal, PETA, AR, Tree huggers blah. I had a shitty day I am in a piss poor mood. Got into a fight in court with a liberal case worker. The perverts lawyer pissed me off and I went strait NCO on him hard core sat his little worthless ass down with his eyes welling with tears. They said at least two more days of this crap. So newbies if you're a PETA or AR person sit down shut up and learn what a wonderful breed this is. And if you see some one has much respect and signs of more Knowledge of you don't start bashing them because you think you know more than some one who has been raising these wonderful dogs over 30+ years. Nothing erks me more than that. Then I have to be nice to someone that I would just as soon snatch its heart out. But no I choose to be nice in most cases and work it out. Why because I love the breed and for the most part I like some people too. I am going to get drunk now and sit in my cave with my eyes glowing red.

Ya know, it used to piss me off, people writing about breading their pitt bulls, lol. But now I just sorta chuckle about it, and it doesn't seem to be quite as prevalent here as in other forums. You can see in the way alot of people type how lazy our society has become. people write the way they talk, for the most part, and you see things like "that's what I would of done" which is clearly grammatically incorrect, but that's how people talk. I do it myself alot. But I came to the realization some time ago that it's not always representative of the author's intelligence, and there's no reason to get irritated by it......just smile and laugh. OH, AND i REALLY LOVE PEOPLE WHO CAN'T SEEM TO FIND THEIR CAPS LOCK KEY AND JUST TYPE EVERYTHING LIKE THIS. Okay, my rant is over now, I need more coffee......

No, they don't. There are misspelled words on signs all the time. In fact, one of our exercises in school was to see if we could find misspelled words in signs. As a result now a misspelled word on a sign just jumps out at me. lol.
But we all misspell words, be it either the result of a typo or just plain old not knowing how to spell the word. But to misspell the word "pit?" I mean really. That's like misspelling "cat" or "dog." It's not like they are spelling adrenocortropic or something.

I guess this could be partly directed to the guy who started the "Pitt Bull" thread yesterday who went onto claim his dogs were "vicious spawns of satin". That's another one of my pet hates - "Satin". The word you were looking for is spelt with an "a" my friend, and you managed to get two of them within one post, great!
Obviously the most important thing is what we say, and that others can understand us. This ain't rocket science, it's a Pit Bull forum to change ideas with others and learn more on the breed. But come on, if anyone can't spell their breed's name by this stage, for their sake and our's, now's the time to learn people!

But come on, if anyone can't spell their breed's name by this stage, for their sake and our's, now's the time to learn people!Or get out of the breed. I've found that most ppl who use the word "pitt" were not really the best ambassidors for bull breeds, let alone pit bulls.
As for Bush, well ... there are a lot of things I could say about him but won't. But I will say this - he has one good side in that he's an "every man." We've all said stupid things, smirked at our own lame jokes or got caught speechless w/ nothing but a blank stare to our names.
Meanwhile most politicians are spit-shined, picture perfect spin doctors who are so far from the every day guy it's insane.
