My dad, my strength, my best friend.. passed away today .. it was unexpected.. he was my rock, my best friend, he hung out w/ my friends beating them at pool , and taking their money. he would do anything for me.. i was his number 1 daughter. . the apple of his eyes..

he stood by me when i was in rough times, never letting go, always there to love me thru it. for 4 years i drove him and my mom thru hell,. i was on a downward spiral of drug use.. they stuck by me for the 4 years, always telling me they loved me.. it was their love that helped me..

now, he is gone.. i miss him terribly.. i cant hear his voice anymore calling me up saying hey freddy whats doing.. his nickname for me was freddy.. my nickname for him was freddy also..... we were a team, and now i have no team...


he was petrified of pitbulls, yet rufus stole his heart.. jesse was his number one girl.. he let me bring him pitbulls to see how they were, he loved them all...

I am so very sorry. I wish I could take your pain from you. Go ahead and embrace every emotion that you are feeling right now. If you feel like weeping, weep. Then when you remember something funny, laugh. You will experience a flood of different emotions, and feel them all as deeply as possible. I cried so very hard when my mother died, we lost many years in my drug addiction, even went 8 years not speaking, but when the Lord straightened me out, he put us back together for 4 yrs before she passed. Everyone thought I was crying so hard because I felt guilty. Truth is, we had talked about and forgiven and forgotton all of that. I was crying so hard, because I loved her. I still do. My sisters tried to act tough and all, and they are stuck not able to get past their loss, as they stuffed their emotions, and I went through mine. That is why I am saying, to cry, to laugh, to smile, and to frown, with all your heart, as that God's way of us to get through these times.
"There is a time to laugh, and a time to weep", "those who mourn, shall be comforted". And , I dont know if you read the bible, but in psalms 34:17-18 says this(really, the whole psalm there is good for you):

"17
The righteous cry, and the Lord hears

And delivers them out of all their troubles.

18 The Lord is near to the  brokenhearted

And saves those who are  crushed in spirit."

I am so sorry for the passing of your dad....I lost my dad 23 yrs ago, I was his only daughter and we had a special connection. To this day I miss him and his memory makes me smile.....he would have loved MyDawgs...although I'm sure he would have thought they were crazy...LOL

Cherish your memories, they will pull you through when you least expect it...you will feel him near when you need him the most, special connections are forever :)
