what would you like to know? there's alot of information to be covered about just one of those bloodlines, let alone all of them. how about you start with one or two questions about ONE of those bloodlines.....and go from there.

ok let me put it to you this way, i have a dame at home, bred 50% gater and 50% swamper, and a male 50% carver and 50% frisco, now what i would like to know is if i put the male over her, what can i expect, good dogs, should i look at other bloodlines??

and are these good bloodlines, there are so many of them, how do i learn about them and how do i know if they are goodor not ??

Man, id duck if I were you. You aint gonna get any breeding advice, thats for sure. It is obvious you need to learn more before you breed.

honestly, if you dont know the first thing about the bloodlines that you have, you shouldn't be breeding them in the first place. i am partial to the chinaman blood, but adding a bunch of dogs with a decent pedigree and nothing else to back it up is not what this country/world needs. if you're gonna do it, there's nothing anyone can do to stop you....but there has got to be a point to your breeding. you should be able to tell from your own dogs what qualities those lines, or the strains that you have. are these proven dogs? what is it about your two dogs that make them worthy candidates for a breeding? what are your plans for the pups? what do you hope to gain?

The only good blod I saw you working with is the Gator stuff (I hope you are talking about Crenshaw's Gator). I am not a fan of that Frisco stuff (quits to much for me)!!!!

Every breeding is a gamble. There is no way to say you'll get this or that, especially with scatter breeding, which is what that would be. Like someone else said, you must honestly look at the dogs in question, and see the pos. traits that you are breeding for, and if there are undesirable, and I am not necessarily saying a soft mouth, but physical probs, temperment, etc, you must be honest with yourself. Then if you still feel you want this breeding, what are you gona do with the pups. Any unknown breeding,IMO, should be held onto, so that you will KNOW what it will produce, and you can cull what comes out bad. It is very possible that the bad recessive genes wont show in scatterbred dogs, but the quality wont be consistant.

I highly suggest you do alittle bit of study on genetics, study pedigrees of good dogs, and then you'll be better off. Every time I beed, I am trying to breed better pups than the parents, but nothing is a sure thing.

Frisco, alot of good ones have come from that, allot of bad ones, like any, I prefer the Chinaman dogs without Frisco personally, from what I have seen, and talking to those who are running that blood.

So many dogs have been named Gator that you'd have to know which one to say anything.

I cant remember the rest.

This is a good place to look for info, just not on breedinig really. Most here figure if you have to ask questions, you shouldnt be breeding. Also most here are scrap happy with the sputer knife also. That's why you were told to duck, nothing personal! Hope I said something that made sense or helped you.
God Bless
