Been using Diamond puppy feed. Went to the feed store and seen Pro Pac Performance Puppy feed. Any one ever use it and if so any pros and cons to it as I was thinking of switching as I seen the protein and fat percentage was higher.

So you using the black diamond for a puppy food instead of the puppy food?? Here the puppy food cost more than the black diamond...
I know a buddy of mine uses the black diamond on some of his older stud dogs and he really likes it....

i also use the diamond puppy, and i have used the cottage cheese and it works well but i like the dehydrated goats milk make super thick to were it is almost yogurt and then i pour it on the puppy's feed. also i give the bitch it from about 2 weeks before the birth till i take her away from the pups them back to the diamond adult/ chicken soup brand / raw chicken quater feed. for the pups i give them the dehyrated goat milk from the time they are weened till 4 months old. that shit is really rich and have way more vitimins than the mothers milk, i guess it would probly be the same as cottage cheese only alot cheaper. 20 bucks will get u through 3-4 feedings. also with weening them i take 2 cups of dry goat milk, 2 cups diamond puppy, and a little homemade chicken soup and put it in the blender with 3 cups slightly warm water and leave it mix in the blender until it is consistant and looks like can dog food. since it is soft it makes the pups more eager to eat it than dry and then after they are eating it i start making it more clumpy (more hard dry pieces in it) till they are just on dry goat milk (no water added) shaken in with the diamond puppy. works like a charm and i always have big healthy pups. and it really helps give the runts that cannot fight off there siblings get the nutrition they need.

I use the Chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul which is put out by diamond. Definetly not the way to go if your looking to save some money but I really like the results.. feed less and the pups high glossy coats, energenic.. no corn, wheat, etc..
other than that my adult dogs get Diamond lamb and rice.

i didnt know it was also made from diamond, i just got a few free bags when they got it at my feed store and gave it a try and i liked the results. cheap? hell no it has to be up there with the most expensive brands.

i will tell u what i found this one feed that i use when i am low on cash that does a nice job especially for the price. it is called retriever and it is 13 bucks for 50 lbs and i will tell u what when money is tight and i have to use a cheap dog food i get it. i honestly think it is ALMOST (key word almost) as good as diamond. and it is dirt cheap. definetly got me through a few tight months here and there when funds were low.

That chicken soup runs 17 dollars for a 18 pound bag. If I had more than one litter I don't think i'd be feeding it to them .. . I'd go back to Diamond puppy or the purina.

i dont know what lb bag i buy but it cost me about 36-37 a baf of it. i dont have many litters maybe 1 a yr as for the momment space is a big deal. so i can splurge when i do have a litter. but the most sugnifficant additive i swear is the goat milk.

I FEED EXCEED TO GROWN DOGS AND PUPPIES. I'VE NEVER FED PUPPY FOOD. I JUST GRIND THE EXCEED UP AND ADD A LITTLE WATER AT 4 WEEKS AND AT 6 WEEKS I JUST GIVE IT STRAIGHT NO WATER OR GRINDED. NEVER LOST A PUP DURING THIS. THEM LIL JOCKER BE FAT AND HEALTHY. ALSO BY DURING THIS I DON'T HAVE TO GO OUT AND BUY PUPPY AND WORRY ABOUT EVER CHANGING THERE FOOD CAUSE THAT IS ALL THEY WILL EVER EAT AND THEY'RE ALREADY USE TO IT.

Exceed is a food put out by Walmart/Sams Club. And its a pretty good food. If you get it at Sams Club, its called Exceed, and its a couple dollars cheaper, if you buy it at Walmart its called Maximum Nutrition, and you will pay a couple more dollars for it.
Another food we have fed is called the Pride, we used the green bag of it, and I really liked that food and would use it now if we hadn't had a disagreement with the local feed company that carried it. Its just like Diamond, but I liked it a TAD better, you can check them out at http://www.thepridedogfood.com

BIG BUBBA I WORK AT WAL-MART AND MAXIMUM NUTRITION AND EXCEED IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT. EXCEED KIBBLES ARE BIGGER AND THEY BOTH HAVE A FEW DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS. BUT THEY ARE BOTH PUT OUT BY THE SAME COMPANY AND ARE BOTH A 30/20.
